Title: Tetsuya's Sunglasses Characters: Yui Hongou from Fushigi Yuugi Medium: Pencils, Felt Tipped Markers, Adobe Photoshop 5.0 Comments: I wanted to draw a picture of Yui for a couple of days. I drew one of Yui and Suboshi, which didn't turn out right. Then recently I pulled this one out after watching Eikoden (which stunk by the way). I had used the DVD's large line art gallery (which surprisingly had 2 images of Yui amongst the 48 of so many others) for reference concerning her hair and shirt. I admit, there's still something wrong with it though, and I think it was the eyes and that they're probably too big. Otherwise I do like her hair, and the concept of her with Tetsuya's glasses. What does seem odd after you think about it, how would Yui get possession of his glasses anyway since Tetsuya seems inseparable from them? Maybe something happened to Tetsuya? I don't know. There's nothing behind this picture besides me wanting to draw Yui a little uneasy looking.
