Title: Easter Contest Characters: Saimour, from Sevi's Order Medium: .5 MM Mechanical Pencil, Photoshop 5.0 Comments: I'd stumbled upon Shannon's work, and I loved a lot of the different poses, and interesting backgrounds in her art. She had a contest being held and the first through third prize winners received anywhere between 2 cg pics + a comic page featuring the winner's original characters, 1 cg pic, or one line art pic. I'd jumped at the opportunity because I really loved her work, so I drew Saimour because of an image I'd seen of her as a naked devil. The rules were to draw one of her original characters in an Easter motif. As you can see, she is sporting very pastel colors; she's wearing an easter egg hat with a chick on top. Rabbit and chick painted on her cheek, Easter egg adjustable clips on her bra straps, bunny in hand, eggs dangling from sleeves and in pocket. Just for added fun I threw in the geometric background. Since there was only two entries, we both won, and received two CG images as prizes. As for little snippets, I do realize her head is a bit large for her body. I'd finished the Yui/Suboshi pic earlier that day and needed to draw something fun without care of correct proportions. And contests should be fun, so there you have it.
