Ingredients

1 Can ESB Belgian Smoked Ale (3 kg)

Extra large can - contains malt and hops ready to go

6 gms Safale S-04 Dried Ale Yeast

 

Method

Kept this one simple as can of goo already has hops in it

Warm can in hot water

Add a couple of litres of boiling water to fermenter

Add can of goo 

Stir to dissolve

Add hot and cold filtered water to make 22 litres

at pitching temp of around 24 deg celsius

Pitch yeast and mix

Maintain temp around 20-22 deg during fermentation

4 x 375 ml bottles

Alcohol around 3.8%

 

Analysis

At bottling strong golden colour

Very strong smoke taste but lighter and crisper 

than Voodoo smoke taste
