Analysis

Returned to the original recipe which calls for Cascade Hops

But still added LME to try to capture that little extra 'something '

that is missing from homemade Newcastle Brown

Fermentation apparently complete after one week but the

Specific Gravity remained unusually high

Let's hope we don't have exploding bottles or foamy beer

as a result of incomplete fermentation prior to bottling

Tasted quite sweet and malty at bottling

Mature taste - really is the best ever - smooth and malty

We call it NB4 (our fourth Newcastle batch)
