Dublin Stout

(Guiness Clone)

Started  10 Oct98

Bottled  20 Oct 98

Ingredients

Exactly same recipe as original Mar 98 brew

(29 Jul 98 recipe was too weak)

but used 2 packs of Danstar Nottingham Yeat (Scottish Barley)

and made only 21 litres

Analysis

Good robust flavour just like the Mar 98 brew

Checking it six month later shows it to be a very strong flavoured stout,

plenty of chocolate taste and rich brown head

(in fact very effervescent as the bottle tends to foam

over on opening and decanting requires more than one jug)

Might ease off on the the bottle priming sugar next time
