We're looking for you. The Ventura County Council is looking for Scouters to be on the High Adventure Team.  We meet the first Monday of the month at the Scout Center, and all are welcome. For those of you unable to participate in the committee but active in the high adventure areas, we need to know what types of activities you are involved in and how we can help you with future training. We have a wealth of expertise to draw on, but are excited about exploring new areas and developing new training programs. Please give us your suggestions!

I would like to encourage all of the units who have had experiences (both bad and good) to share with us. The way we find interesting outdoor adventures, understand how planning was either inadequate or made for a truly memorable outing, or disaster was averted via trained individuals is by sharing these experiences. Please, at the very least, be interactive in the community. We welcome your active participation.
