Sharing Christ with someone always involves risk. What if your
friend pushes you away because of it? What if your family member
scoffs at you? What if someone brands you a hypocrite? What if people
think you are weird? Of course, all those things are possibilitiesbut
think about this: What if that person puts their trust in Jesus
Christ? What if His love fills up their emptiness? What if His forgiveness
covers their sins? What if they become your brother or sister in
the family of God? What if, below the surface, the are desperate
for answers in their lives? What if Jesus becomes to them what he
has been to you? You see, talking to someone about Jesus is always
worth the risk. Paul says, " For the word of the cross is to
those who are perishing foolishness, but to us who are being saved
it is the power of God." (1 Cor 1:18). When you take the risk,
be sure and share what Christ has meant to you.
