  Hint: I've done two email projects...one with university students and one (currently) with middle school students. The key to both has been that each of the teachers involved feel confident that the other will do what they say they will do. There must be quite a lot of communication between the teachers (almost daily at first), and trust must be an integral part of the project. Once the students start writing to each other, the teachers can enjoy the fruits of their labor, but must be willing to monitor, encourage and above all COMMUNICATE!!
