Mtn^Gal enjoys cool (but not wet) mountain areas, dry-style snow and sunny days. My husband, Mysthja, is a child of the sea, a heat and sun worshipper, and definitely a fisherman! We both are Scorpios who have known each other since 1987. Everything they say about Scorpios is SO true about us!! We are WorldMark Owners, and very much enjoy travelling. We purchased a motorhome in May of 2003, so we are ready to become retired! Retirement is THE life!!

I absolutely love computers and the internet! I took computers in college, when the CPU was the size of a large room! Rather than go to live classrooms, I enjoy on-line education, with my favorite being Virtual University, which I started with back in 1995. Being hard-of-hearing, I lipread, so I am not much of a social bird at all. I prefer to do my socializing on the internet. Not that I avoid REAL life, I do go out (kicking and screaming all the way) every once in a while. There is not much I hate in life, but I do absolutely HATE telephones, and pagers with voice mail.

I very much enjoy my job for Canada Post, which I have been employed by since 1975. I am a night-shift mail sorter, but I recently took a temporary 2-year assignment, which involved acquiring public internet access in canadian post offices and training postal workers how to use these computers.

I've been single all my life, until I was 44, when I surprised myself by getting married in 1998. My most favorite hobby is learning, practising, teaching and just plain creating webpages. Being married and working full-time does not give me a whole lot of time to devote to learning about designing webpages, so my webpages are very simple for now. I intend to have an internet business when I retire -- but I'm not telling anyone what it will be. So far, I have not found such a business online.

Of course, I have other hobbies. I love walking in the quiet of nature, such as in the country, or at the shorelines of the ocean. I also get pleasure with sewing, needlework and all kinds of crafts. I think I'm developing a love for vegetable gardening, but it must be something that comes with old age, eh?

My biggest desire is to be organized one day, so that I can find what I'm looking for...... Another goal for my retirement!
