As far as the protable phone, in all probability you are interfering. Those phones ecomimize on selectivity in order to gain sensitivity. They would receive a kids Radio Shack HT on CB. I was just talking to my brother, K2RCH, today, and he has the same problem. The only difference is we are both Attorneys, and Engineers. He get's nowhere with his neighbor, there is no reasoning with certain individuals. As an engineer, you have properly identified the source of your problems, let him disconnect those broadband preamps. I can run 1500 watts into my 2 meter ant and put the Sony TV on the 432 yagi 6' away with no interference on any channel. My neighbor will experience TVI if I run 10 watts. As attorneys, my brother and I, certainly have an advantage but we both still have the problem. There is no solution with unreasonable people and if there was a disaster your neighbor would be complaining as you passed traffic. There is a saying "good fences make good neighbors". The only solution is to get a comittee of the local radio club, if there is one, to do a check. Then that is all you can do, if the neighbor will still not listen. 73, BRUCE k2rth
