Have you contacted the set manufactures? Also, make sure its not getting in on the powerline or TV cable shield (if using coax). You might try wrapping the power cord and TV coax through a ferrite RFI filter (Radio Shack has a snap together type). If he has a VCR attached, disconnect it to eliminate it as a possibility. With todays plastic TVs, its pretty easy to zap a set with 6!
