(about 300 feet away) At first the problem was horrible. 10 watts on 6,2, or 432 would take out all channels. Turns out he had a TV preamp. He took it out of the line and now the problem is only on 6mtrs. I am used to 6 meters bothering channel 2 or 3, and with just 10 watts I do bother his channel 2, but with 100 watts I take out his UHF channels. He has a high pass filter and a 50.125 notch filter I got from someone here on the net. Questions: 1.Since I am taking all of channels out, could this be common mode interference? One thing to note is that I dont bother him at all when my ant is 90 degrees off of him. Unfortunately he is to the east of me!!! 2. I am using a ten-tec transverter and a TS 430 to a 100 watt brick. Are ten-tec transverters pretty clean? I am not using any filters. Is there a good low pass filter I can buy that wont attenuate 6 meters? And will it help? 3. What about that JA homebrew Band pass filter? The thing that really throws me is that I bother every channel. He says he has the same problem on his other TV as well. PS. he is a ham (shack on the belt) and we have a pretty good relationship so far. He got on his HT and we walked through every channel and transmitter combination. So he is very willing to help me experiment. 73 Tim - NU6S
