Boy, does your story ring true!! Its really amazing how bad it can be
to deal with someone who has *no* technical understanding about TV
or radio, and just wants to complain!! From what you said, you will
probably never get it thru their thick skulls that they can do things at their
end (pull those preamps) to help this out some. I have seen the type --
MANY times...

Another side of the problem comes from the fact that TV is more
addictive than heroin. --- Just think about the reactions of people who for
some reason, cant watch the %&#!@*!! thing for a while... Worse than the
symptoms of withdrawal from nicotine or any street drug !!! It would
really be nice if more people would start taking up real hobbies and not
just get lobotomized every night, but I'm probably dreaming.

However obnoxious it is to admit defeat, I would start looking for a
decent piece of real estate, and move. I dont know about your area,
but it sounds like an island property must be worth some $$, so you could
sell it and find a hilltop -- or any place with fewer neighbors nearby. Life
is just too short to put up with this kind of s**t. A legal battle may provide
some vindication, but those things tend to drag on for y-e-a-r-s. You dont
need the hassle, if there is still *any* way around it. You have a family
to raise and and that is a big enuff task already (and MUCH more important).

BTW, I spent almost 2 YEARS looking for the place I now have,
with no antenna restrictions and well-seperated neighbors, so of course it
isnt an easy fix -- but in the end it is likely to be a better one !
