Notice: I apologize wholeheartedly for the poor quality of the pictures here. You see, I had recieved a "free" roll of film as a promotional offer and just before I sold this bike, I decided  to take some pictures for memories' sake. It turned out that the "free" roll was outdated and produced  the lousy "rainbows" on the pics. When I finally found out, the bike was long gone. Anyway, that was 14 years ago and can't be helped now.  Just goes to show, if it's free, there must be a catch!
Despite the lousy film, you can see the custom paint I had applied using the stock scheme. The bike was Red and Inverness Blue/black with Grey striping. I only put the tank decals on, so no-one knew what size it was. Several people thought it was a 1000 Interceptor. Of course, I would never let on.
Again and from the other side. Visible are the Yoshimura slipons and also mirrors off a Suzuki GS 550. The mirrors were more slender and less bulky looking than the stockers as well as offering
a better view rearward. Pretty much impossible to tell, but the bellypan is covered in that "duraguard" type coating they use on rocker panels and such.
Sure kept the rock chips at bay!
To the right is a better shot of the mirrors and the Lockhart windscreen. Also note the non-factory driving lamp. Looking back now, it's pretty cheesy but as a young pup of 19,
I thought it was cool back then.
Even so, I must say, it was VERY effective at lighting up moose and deer on the road. And yes, that signal light
IS crooked. Never did look right after the crash and all  :(
(Nothing to do with wildlife)
Of all the pictures, this one turned out best. (Ignore the radio, please) Here you can see the 140 spec rear tire which was about as wide as you could go on those old skinny rims.
Maybe if I hadn't said anything about the film, you'd think this was some sort of nifty effect with the sun, intending to look artistic. (Or maybe not)
