Click on the name of a Mobile Suit (if there is one) to see a picture of it, sometimes with its pilot. The problem with the first five are that they are HUGE (try using them for your desktop, I have). Also, click on the name of a person to see a different picture of them. I tried to make them as good as possible. Enjoy!
Also, don't ridicule the small original pictures (or lack thereof). It is extremely difficult to find any high quality pics or any at all of anybody except the five Gundam Pilots. Also, the information for the Gundam pilots is that which is available at the beginning of the show. To get the whole story, go to the backstory of the episodes section.
These profiles now contain info on each pilot throughout the entire series. Any information that is not readily apparent at the beginning of the series is in white. Go to the Backstory in the Episode guides for the Pilot's Backstories.
Wing Gundam - This Gundam has the ability to transform into a birdlike jet. Not only does it have two standard head-mounted vulcan cannons and a beam saber, but it also has a devastating beam cannon, which makes the Millenium Celebration look like
candles on a birthday cake.
Gundam DeathScythe
- My fave! This Gundam uses a laser scythe to slice enemy suits to shreds. This weapon is so powerful that the enemy mobile suits actually begin to slag and disentegrate before the actual blow hits. The booster engines on this baby also makes a small bit of magnetic resonance, disrupting radar, sonar, and even human sight. It also contains a buster shield which is able to shoot from the arm and take out an object from a distance. Simply put, when it's in a hurry, you can't see it. It's the only vehicle I want more than a Mitsubishi 3000GT Twin Turbo, and I really want one of those...
Gundam HeavyArms - This Gundam has no beam saber, no laser scythe, only one razor sharp blade to slice and dice. However, it does have guns. LOTS of guns.
Gatlings in the arm and Chest. Missiles in arms and legs. Blows junk up REAL nice. He has only one weakness - and that's running out of ammo. Given the rate of fire, I'd say that could happen pretty quick. And I wonder how he reloads after the battle, 'cause he's only about 15. I doubt the'd let him on a miltary base. But I'd by lying if I said that the kids didn't love this one.
Gundam SandRock - This Gundam has twin scimitars for more slice and dice action. He also carries one big uzi. He's got friends in high spots, namely a renegade Mobile Suit army based in the desert.
Gundam Shenlong Nataku - This Gundam is the property of a 15-year-old martial arts master. He's got a double-ended laser-powered bo staff, a la Darth Maul. Lots of fun when he spins it, 'cause he can be his own food processer. The claw-equipped left arm also extends to reach out and touch someone. The arm, called the Dragonfist, is also capable of shooting nuclear fire. We're talking Disco Inferno to the tenth power here, folks.
Tallgeese - This 15 year old mobile suit (almost as old as it's 19 year old pilot) was found by Parker, one of Zechs' close friends and subordinates, at the Alliance Corsica Base. It is strong despite being made of Titanium instead of Gundanium alloy. It features a Dobergun as its main weapon, but also uses two separate Beam Sabers. It has a shield on one shoulder and super backpack verniers for major speed.
Lucretzia Noin - Lucretzia Noin is one of Zechs' close friends and the second best pilot ever to graduate from the OZ Victoria Base (slightly behind Zechs). During their time at the Victoria Base, Noin somehow managed to get very close to Zechs. So close that Zechs confided his secret identity to her. In AC 195 (more than a year after they graduated from the academy), Zechs once again calls on his close friend, Noin, to help him with the gundam threat. Noin never really has a suit of her own. She is seen piloting an Aries twice (losing to Wufei once) and a modified Taurus several times.
Tallgeese II - piloted by Treize Kushrenada. It features a Dobergun and two Beam Swords just like the originial. The only difference is that this one is modified for space battle and painted blue on the front. Treize is not much of an MS fighter, choosing swords usually, and only ever uses the Tallgeese II once (score one more for Wufei). Treize is another close friend of Zechs and even his leader for a time (being the head of OZ and leader of the Specials force). Treize is even part of the mysterious Romefeller Foundation (headed by his uncle, Duke Dermail), a confederation of European aristocrats. Treize also keeps Zechs' secret. He resigns in the middle of the series, but returns to fight Zechs in the last battle.
Lady Une - What can one say about a woman like Lady Une. In a word, nuts. She believes in shooting first and asking questions later. She doesn't even know the meaning of kindness, and she sees soldiers as pawns in some sort of large scale game. These acts and behaviors have earned her the nickname Fiery Une. However, her feelings for her superior, Treize, causes this warrior to manifest an unlikely split personality. She becomes the exact opposite of all I just said (but still nuts). She is also a fighter without a trademark suit, but you can see her hop into an Aries from time to time to go out killing (and she's good at it). She also is shot by Tuberov and disappears for a while, but ends up saving Treize's life.
Dorothy Catalonia - Dorothy Catalonia is a part of the Romefeller Foundation and also Duke Dermail's granddaughter (making her a close relation to Treize). She is introduced about halfway into the series as a student in Relena Peacecraft's pacifism class. Dorothy doesn't believe in peace whatsoever and enjoys war. She joins the White Fang in order to be part of the biggest war ever. She is a very large part of this war by being the leader of the all of the White Fang Mobile Doll fighting units. Quatre stops her and shows her the error of her ways.
Relena Dorlian/Peacecraft - Relena starts out as a major annoyance in this series, and one can not help but cheer Heero when he threatens to kill her. As the show progresses though, Relena drops her former self and becomes somewhat less annoying. She is still very gullible though, believing that peace can be gained easily. Early she learns that she is also a Peacecraft (and Zechs' sister), and she takes the responsibility of rebuilding the Sanc Kingdom since Milliardo cannot bring himself to do it. She also becomes leader of the World Nation, but is removed by Treize. She tries to stop Milliardo from destroying Earth.
Catherine Bloom - Catherine is a member of the traveling circus that Trowa hides in. She is also the world's foremost knife thrower. Actually, she is a bit scared of Trowa, but ends up treating him as a little brother. She also manages to save his life a couple times. She is actually his sister.
Rashid and the Maguanac Peace Corps - These forty Middle Eastern MS fighters (led by Quatre's second in command, Rashid) are Quatre's soldiers in the war with OZ. They are supposed to protect him, but Quatre feels the need to protect them. Ok, they aren't really civilians, but I didn't know where to put them.
Sally Po - Sally is a former Alliance officer who helps Wufei through a tough time when he feels he cannot battle any longer. She disappears for a while after that, but she resurfaces later to help the Gundam pilots once more. She collects the Gundams in order to bring them to the pilots. She also helps them fight the final battle.
Hilde Schbeiker - A resident of the L2 colony, Hilde wants to join OZ in order to protect the colonies (despite being 16, but hey, everybody's young in this show). However, she runs across a man named Duo. He shows her the error of his ways, and she offers a place for him to hide while he stays in the colonies. She spends some time alone with Duo (hehehe). She also delivers some important information at the end of the show. She tells them how to destroy Libra and that Relena is aboard the ship.
Leo - The main force of both the Alliance and OZ at the beginning of the show. This suit comes equipped with a Dobergun and Beam Saber. It's a pretty basic model, and is easily beaten. It also comes in two flavors, one for ground assault (green) and one for space combat (blue). It is only made for human battle. After the World Nation loses it's Mobile Doll production, it is forced to use these again.
Aries - These had just been made at the beginning of the show. They are many times faster than a Leo and more powerful. They are all for space battle (and all of them are light black), but they will be a formidable land enemy too. They never seem to touch the ground, though. They also come equipped with a Dobergun, and they are only made for a human pilot. These disappear midway through the show when the Tauruses are developed.
Cancer - The newest in manned, underwater battle. It come equipped with torpedoes and guns too, but it is slightly more powerful. It looks like a lobster, but it can also change into a man form. These are only useful in battles near or over water, which doesn't happen often. Same as Pisces, it makes a great search and recover vessel.
Taurus - Developed early in the series, the Taurus is the ultimate in space battle technology. While it still needs a pilot to function, the Taurus has a new cockpit system that can think on its own. When Mobile Doll technology is first employed, the Taurus is the first to recieve it. The suit is all black with many sharp points. It also has a bird mode for extra speed. As Mobile Dolls, they still have capacity for a pilot, but the cockpit is always empty.
Virgo - The Virgo is the ultimate land assault mobile doll. It is a hybrid between the Vayaete and Mercurius. On one shoulder, it has a Planet Defensor about half as strong as that of the Mercurius, and on the other, an arm-mounted Buster rifle about half as powerful as that of the Vayaete. It is painted totally gray-green, and usually attacks in groups. A group of three can make a sphere of protection around themselves and create a sphere of destruction in the surrounding area. They're production is cut short when the White Fang siezes the Moon Base, and Tuberov destroys their manufacturing plant.
VirgoII - Developed by the White Fang, it is basically a Virgo modified for space battle. Taking parts of Virgos left over at the moon base from Operation Nova, the White Fang painted them yellow and set them to destroying the OZ forces in space. They are all linked to a main control center, and can be moved by just one person using a Zero equipped helmet. They are also easily linked to a Zero equipped suit. This is the main force of the White Fang in the final battle.
