Jon took out a small pistol from his sleeve.  "9 milimeter, it's your second best shot if your blade breaks, it will buy you some time."  I took it and stuffed it inside a liner pocket.

"Now I looked around the hall while you were getting sunglasses, and found that the best dueling ground is the back alley.  It's enclosed and hidden so he can't get a good swing."  He looked at me as I lowered my new shades, rose quartz lenses, expensive.  "Please don't get too plastered, at least not tonight."

I don't remember much after that I do remember skinny dipping (if I could call it that) and two ladies running from the room.  Anyway, next morning we went to the music hall and watched and he passed by the crowd.  He was a rocker all right.  He wore tight leather clothing and chains.  He had his axe slung over his shoulder.  He froze when he saw Jon and I.  He talked to the man behind him who waded through the crowd to us.  The man tipped toed to reach my ear.

"He says to meet him out back during sound test."  I nodded an acknowledgement to Robert and turned to the ally.

We waited for two minutes and he showed up with a tall blonde headed man.  "This is Jason, my second."  Robert stated as we shook hands.  "He scoped this place out a day ago found it to proper standards, now..." He put his axe on his shoulder.  "?I've got a concert in one hour.  Let's do this so I can prepare."  He took one end of the alley and I took the other.  I removed my blade from my trench and stood ready.

"Shame I'm gonna have to kill you.  You've got good music."  I said as he rushed me.  His axe was overhead.  As he reached me started to bring the axe down on my head.   Well safe to say I lived.  My blade pierced his stomach and went cleanly through.  He dropped the axe and grabbed my blade.  With one swift move I pulled the blade out, span and came inches of lopping his head off.  Except he sank down to his knees and I caught the air.  He passed out.
