Chapter 6

Bulma stumbled along steadily; she kept a hand against the rough stonewall to steady her as she tried desperately to find her way out of the stone maze. Her boots thudded awkwardly on the uneven stone floor, having been made for more civilised surroundings.

“Stupid Vegeta! I can’t believe he did this to me…” Bulma stumbled and fell to her knees with a small cry, “Dammit!” She lashed out and kicked the stonewall, “All I want to do is get out!”

Bulma lay there for several minutes fighting away her inner fears of the cave collapsing or of the stonewalls moving in to crush her…after lying still for several minutes Bulma picked herself up off the floor. I have to keep going…I can’t let him win; I’ve come too far!  With a nod of determination Bulma strode down the nearest stone hall, determined to get out.

“You know she’s going to crack if you keep her in the maze for much longer.” Chichi was reclined on Vegeta’s bed with Goku,

“Yeah, she’s right. If you keep on moving the halls about she’ll go insane and then where will you be?” Goku trailed his fingers through Chichi’s hair, petting her as Vegeta stared into the viewing pool.

“She’s fine…she’s just a little stressed…” Vegeta looked up to find Goku and Chichi staring at him with disbelief painted on their faces, “…okay, okay I’ll stop playing with her.” Vegeta waved his hand in the air and a fine tremor shook the room for a few seconds before fading away, with a grunt of satisfaction Vegeta made his way to the bed and with a grin at his two friends, lay down next to them.

“What’d you do?” Goku asked suspiciously, Vegeta stared at the ceiling for a second before turning his head and staring at him,

“I put her in the pit.”

“YOU DID WHAT!” Chichi and Goku jumped up and stared at him speechlessly.

“What? Don’t look so shocked. She’ll be fine.” Vegeta closed his eyes and pretended to ignore them, oblivious to his friend’s snarls.

When Bulma had first felt the shaking she had though that her wildest nightmares were coming true and that the cave was going to collapse, luckily it didn’t. Instead a two metre wide crevice opened up below her feet and Bulma went plummeting into a black hole for the second time that night. She didn’t know how long she lay on her back on the stone floor for but it had been long enough for the torches set into the small caves walls to begin to burn themselves out. She would have lain there for even longer but the sounds of small scuttling creatures were back.

She lifted her head and tried to see what was making the noise but her vision, still blurry from when her head had hit the ground, wasn’t able to make anything out other then small yellow and red blurs that occasionally came close to Bulma and then would streak away. With a groan Bulma pulled herself up, aware that she probably had concussion by now but too tired to care, and slowly stood up on legs that felt like jelly.

“Who’s there?” Bulma blinked several times until her eyes cleared and she was able to make the floor…or what she thought was a floor until she focused in closer and realised that the floor was actually a writhing mass of small furry snakes.

“Aaaaaaaaaaaah!” Bulma leapt at the steep walls of the pit and managed to pull herself up a few feet before she slid back down to the floor, the fur snakes moving out of her way with a hiss.

“Oh. My. God.” Bulma curled up against the wall, as far from the snakes as she could get and lay their shaking. What if they eat me! Didn’t Vegeta say that they liked eating people? Bulma gave a moan of fear and huddled in to the wall as the fur snakes crawled around in front of her, every now and again one of them would look up at her with huge blue eyes and then crawl on or pause to hiss at her and mock strike in her direction.

Come on Bulma! Get up! Get up! Don’t let him win…don’t let him scare you! Bulma slowly raised her head and focused her gaze on the fur snakes, maybe she could get past them somehow…they hadn’t actually hurt her yet, maybe if she stood up and walked really slowly they would let her walk around to the other side of the cave where Bulma could just see what looked like a wooden door build into the wall. Of course knowing this place it was only a fake door that opened to the stonewall behind.

But what choice did she have?

Bulma sprang upright and was pleased to see that her sudden movement had scared the snakes and that they were now staying about a foot away from her, their wide blue eyes watching her every movement. She began edging her way to the wooden door, and was about a metre away when one of the snakes hissed and sprang at her. Bulma squealed and kicked the fur snake sending it flying head first into the opposite wall. It fell to the floor with a ‘thunk’ and its comrades swarmed over it, devouring the injured fur snake.

“Eew!” Bulma took advantage of the fur snakes distraction and slipped inside the wooden door, closing it behind her and leaning up against it with a sigh of relief.

“Having fun?” Vegeta mocking voice sounded in her ear and with a shriek Bulma opened her eyes and whipped around to face the smirking Fey King, who was clad in white leather and leaning against the wall next to her with his arms folded. A decidedly devious look on his face as he watched her.

“I suppose you found that funny?” Bulma demanded,

“Quite.” Vegeta grinned and moved closer to her, pinning her against the door with one arm, “Are you sure you want to keep playing this little game? It gets harder from here on in and the clock is ticking.” Vegeta moved in close to her and brushed his lips against hers, his ebony eyes burning into hers.

“I’m not going to give up.”  Bulma stared mesmerised into his eyes, some small part of her brain realising that he was be-spelling her but when she tried to look away she found herself unable to.

Vegeta rubbed his head against hers in an oddly cat like manner and kissed her again, this time kissing her with all the pent up fire and rage that she evoked in him. Slowly Bulma’s hands crept up around his neck and twined themselves into his hair. Vegeta sighed in approval as Bulma pulled him in closer to her and then slid to the floor with him,

“You see Bulma…” Vegeta kissed her again and then reluctantly pulled his lips away, “I could have done this to you earlier and made you want me.”

Bulma ignored Vegeta and kissed him again, her kissed dropping to his neck as she eagerly pushed herself up against him. Her hands slid down his chest and began to rub against the hardness of his arousal through his trousers.

“I don’t care…” Bulma gasped, out of her mind with the strong feeling of lust he had awakened in her.

Vegeta panted as he fought the urge to simply take her here – on the floor of the labyrinth. Every instinct told him that she was only a mortal, that he was free to use her while she was be-spelled. Instead he grabbed Bulma’s hands and forced them away from his arousal, he kissed her once more and then pulled away, The moment his lips left hers Bulma felt her senses returning and she stared in horror at Vegeta who laughed softly.

“You should care Bulma because if I was less then the man I am I would force you to love me and take you.” Vegeta stood up and brushed himself off, “Let me make it clear to you now Bulma, that you will never escape. No mortal has ever escaped me and none ever will.”

“How dare you…” Bulma stood up, her face flushing with red and she recalled her lustful behaviour moments earlier.

“I was just showing you what I’m capable of.” Vegeta put a finger up to Bulma’s swollen lips and slowly dropped his hand to her tiny waist to pull her in close to him and give her a sweet kiss, “I will never force you like that again, I can promise you that much. But Bulma know this; you’re already mine whether you like it or not. Already the Fey blood is beginning to burn in your veins. Before you know it you will be one of us.” Vegeta turned around and began to slowly walk away, leaving Bulma in the wood panelled hall way, he paused in front of her and looked back at her, a slightly pained expression on his face,

“I love you, Bulma.”

And with that he seemed to blur and disappear into the darkness, leaving Bulma alone to solve the rest of the maze.
