Mina (Minako Aino, Sailor Venus)

The Story

When Mina lived in England, she found out that she was Sailor V. The only other person who knew this, was her best friend Katrina. Both she and Katrina were in love with the same boy Alan, who was interested in Katrina. However, because Katrina was a good friend, she did not go out with him, as long as Mina liked him. One day a building collapsed with Sailor V trapped inside. All Katrina found of her friend was the ribbon she had once worn in her hair. Now Sailor V was gone forever. She moved to Tokyo, where she became the fifth Sailor scout, Sailor Venus. The rest of the senshi thought she might be the moon princess because of the crescent moon she bore on her forehead. She has her own guardian, a white cat named Artemis. She has her own guardian because she was the leader of the Sailor Scouts in the silver millenium, when there was no Sailor Moon, only the moon princess. As the series progresses, she becomes less serious, and more bubbly like Usagi.

Mina is very friendly, and has an open personality, she lives with her mother and father, and she looks exactly like Serena because on the Moon Kingdom she was used to trick people into believing she was Serena for the princess's safety, all she had to do was to put her hair up in meatballs. Mina was the first scout to be found by her guardian Artemis, but she was the fifth scout to join the others. Mina wasn't able to join them earlier because she lived in England.
