The Story

One Day when Serena was rushing to school hoping she wouldn't be late again, she saw some boys hurting a little black cat, she came to the cats rescue, and noticed that it had bandages on it's forehead. Serena removed the bandages to reveal a strange marking resembling a crescent moon, then she ran off realizing that she was going to be late for school.

Later that day Serena got a test back with a big red 30 written on it, She was in a really bad mood and Melvin didn't help, he was upset because he only got a 95 and his parents would be upset. As Serena was walking home she crumpled up the test and tossed it, but it hit Darien on the head he looked at it, and laughed " A 30...Are you stupid or just incredibly lazy"

When Serena finally got home and showed her mother the test (against her better judgement), she got very mad and told Serena to go to the library and study.

Later on Serena was in her room moping when the black cat with the strange marking went into Serena's room through the window. Serena was kind of surprised, especially when the cat began to talk to her. Serena decided this was just a dream and when the cat told her that her best friend Molly was being attacked by a monster from the Negaforce Serena played along and took the pin that the cat (who identified herself as Luna) and held it in the air saying "Moon Prism Power!" she transformed into Sailor Moon and saved Molly and the others.

A little more info

Even though Sailor Moon can be a very irresponsible person at times, she's a good friend, and can be counted on when she's needed most. Serena lives with her father, mother, and her little brother Sammy.

On the Moon Kingdom it was a secret passed down from each Queen Serenity to the next that Sailor Moon was really the Moon Princess, after being sent to earth though the secret was eventually revealed.

Sailor Moon is the leader of the Sailor Scouts(I'd be scared if I was living in Tokyo at the time. :) ) She puts her hair up in to pigtails with buns, and Darien calls her Meatball head.

The Name Serenity from the original Japanese version has two Origins, it refers to the Sea of Serenity on the Moon kingdom, and Selene the moon goddess who fell in love with Endymion (Darien is known as Prince Endymion when he joins Metallia in the Japanese version).

In the Japanese version her name as a princess was Serenity, and her name was Usagi.
