Life's Weird

by Freek Wallace

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, please hear me out and read my rant. Now, I've noticed that college is a time for many new things. This is the longest I've been away from my parents, and my friends, the UNGCC (a few of which are in the BBFC, like Demosthenes, Akuma, Gir, and EB). However, I am living with my grandma, so I don't have to pay extra for living in a dormatory. I have my license, a job, and I have to get up at 7:15 nearly every morning. While the getting up time isn't so new, nearly everything else is. EB was really mad at me for leaving him at our high school, but he'll get over it. Besides, he's probably one of the only ones who passed the grade. My car, the "Garuda 1", a white 2002 Dodge Neon is a reliable car, even if it doesn't have an in-dash CD player, or power locks/windows. Speaking of cars, my uncle has a metallic blue 2004 Toyota Solara and I must say, that is a cool car (I kid you not!).

I have been coping with my overall reinstated loneliness by meeting a new friend, keeping in touch with the UNGCC, and developing acquaintances at the Rodan's Roost forum. I haven't updated the site in a while (again), so I'm doing that right now. I pretty much get bored a lot due to the fact that cable does not exist at Grandma's house. I have a dial-up connection, which I pretty much only use at night when Grandma knows she's not getting any calls.

I spend my on-campus off time at the commuter lounge, where I play games on my laptop and occasionally watch the DVDs they show. The president of the UCA (Undergraduate Commuter Association) seems pretty nice, but I hardly talk to him much (or anyone else for that matter). I'm really not that outgoing of a person, and usually keep to myself.

Well, that's pretty much what I'm going to be ranting about for now...

I have a George Foreman Grill! Now get a job!!!!!
