Piccolo is not the Piccolo you see in Dragonball. In Dragonball, Kami had split himself into two people because he had to get ride of his evil side if he wanted to be watcher of the earth or god. In doing so he created another person named Piccolo-Daimao witch stands for Piccolo The Demon. But in a fight with Chibi Goku, Piccolo-Daimao was defeated. With his last breath he spitted out an egg and then hatched Piccolo Jr. the Piccolo from Dragonball Z and Dragonball GT. More on Piccolo's bio soon.
