Hunting!

Hunting is sadly still one of the most famous sports and forms of entertainment today, where deer, foxes, badgers, rabbits and wild cats and dogs are shot at and chased by men on horses and packs, of sometimes thousands, of beagles, blood hounds, Labradors and other house kept hunting dogs that have been trained to rip an animal apart once they have seen it move within the bushes! Not long ago another law was passed down to ban Fox Hunting in the United Kingdom, but again the government never even finished the case and also many people debated that hunting was what God wanted us to do... how is that true?

Hunting is today the most popular past down sport from the middle ages, but back than more people wished to do it and passed it to their children and their children passed it on and so on and so on, but to this modern age, what use does it bring to chase, shot and butcher an innocent animal? It brings pleasure to those that kill it, not to others like you and I that actually care about animals. The people that actually kill the foxes, deer and other animals hardly had a use for these poor animals, what happens to them once they are shot? They are dumped, or their heads cut off and plastered onto a wall with thousands of other endangered species that these people have slaughtered for fun. Tell me, what fun is it to hunt an kill something that is smaller than you, defenceless and unable to plead for it's life? There is none, well maybe to those that do hunt it's a different story.    'Hunting has no purpose what so ever. It is cruel and those that attend hunting are cruel too. Maybe if they stopped and looked into the gorgeous eyes of the animal that the are about to slaughter than they may think differently about hunting. I can't understand why people hunt because there is so much debate against leather and fur at the moment that they can't surly be making these animals into fur and leather because if they are than the hunters are just getting worse. Maybe the government say that foxes are not endangered, but once ten or twelve years of hunting are finished and when the government get their heads out of their butts they will see that fox species are dying out and are becoming extinct, there are less now than there was last year and it will continue to decline. Just stop hunting. It has no point what so ever!

So, why do people hunt? It's a question that Animal Organization like 'Viva!', PETA, RSPCA and other places ask themselves continuously. It seems to us that the reason for hunting is that people enjoy the thrill of the hunt whilst on the hunt, but if people stopped and looked at the fear that an animal has to endure whilst they experience the thrill, maybe than will they understand that people stopped hunting after the middle ages for a reason. It wasn't meant to become a famous sport again, to let animals die for our pleasure is not something that we should be proud of. Recent news from a member of Veggie Roxs, Amy, tells me that in Milton Keynes Fox Hunting will be banned in about two years time. Milton Keynes is a large city yes, but with little hunters. I know that I helped ban hunting in my home village of Stony Stratford, and this was a place of many hunters, but a place like Milton Keynes will not really do much. Hunting must be stopped worldwide, especially in Europe and you can help with this. Sign petitions and write letters, don't support the mass slaughter of the Pigeons in Trafalgar Square London and pay more attention to the goings on in your area, I never thought that I could ban hunting in my area and I was on my OWN! But gang up with your friends and visit your local MP or council and explain the facts... everything helps. Out of everything that must be stopped in the world, hunting is the first!

I have been fighting for the TSP for a while now and with the money that is raised than we are helping the very important pigeons. Now if you asked for folks about pigeons they would say, 'Oh, they are nothing but scavengers' or 'Rats with wings' well if they looked harder they would understand that they are what makes Britain, Britain. A man has been found and is being paid to use a hawk to scare off the pigeons, but when on goers are not looking than this cruel man uses his hawk to kill the pigeons and has also been found eating the pigeons himself. He enjoys hunting and has no mercy! This must be stopped today! To help end the mass pigeon slaughter and hunting than please please please show you care by writing to this address and show your disgust and explain to them that killing the pigeons is taking away Britain's Pride!
