The Great ChibiUsa Debate

There's no BSSM fan unturned who already hasn't heard the ongoing debate on whether ChibiUsa should loved or hated. Why? ChibiUsa is possibly the most rejected character in SailorMoon ... but at the same time, there are people (like me) who think she's the best senshi for more than a few reasons. Find out why the struggle continues .....

Why People Hate the Pink One

Anti-ChibiUsa fans have felt so strongly against small lady in the past, that they have even created some anti-ChibiUsa organizations, such as C.U.R.E (ChibiUsa's Really Evil) ... sites that are free of pinkness and kawaii-ness whatsoever, and display harsh comments and gory fanart about her. What would bring people to hate such a cute little girl so much? We've come to the following conclusions:

• She's annoying.

• Her color theme is pink.

• She's one of the weakest senshi.

• Her eyes are red, "therefore she's evil."

• She's disrespectful toward Usagi,

• She "likes" Mamoro.

• She's a tag-a-long to the senshi on their battles, and gets in the way with her weak attacks.

• Her hair style is silly.

• Some people just don't like cute.

   These are most of the basic reasons why people have come to hate ChibiUsa so much. The most famous reason is her personality. Maybe she's a little bratty ... but she's a little kid! Especially in the R season. Put yourself in the same spot as ChibiUsa. You can't expect her to go around spreading niceness when she has some grim duties to complete. I say she acts pretty decent, knowing what's going on back at Crystal Tokyo.
   Another one is her color theme. Pink. To some people, the thought of pink makes them hurl, and ChibiUsa's got lots of it. Another backup to the same idea, is that her eyes are red, clarifying her evilness. I say, hello! Luna has red eyes! Does that mean she's evil too?!
   ChibiUsa acts bratty around Usagi most of the time, upsetting people. Think of it this way though. Usagi and Rei squabble endlessly, but they happen to be best friends. ChibiUsa and Usagi are too similar to be able to get along.
   Lastly, people don't like cute. A reason which I have never come to comprehend. :->

Why People Love the Pink One

With the merciless anti's out there, we ChibiUsa fans have pulled our senshi strengths together in order to protect and defend small lady. ChibiUsa fans might belong to organizations such as Project C.U.T.E (ChibiUsa's Terrific Everyone.) Why is the little one loved so much? See below:

• She's cute.

• She's mature for her age.

• She's passionate and understanding,

• She cares a lot about her family and friends.

• She takes her senshi-hood seriously.

• Her attacks are kawaii.

• She's very responsible.

• She's smarter than Usagi.

• Her hair style is adorable.

• Her color theme is pink!

   If you haven't noticed it already, ChibiUsa is totally cute. I mean, really, How can someone get so kawaii? Although even some ChibiUsa fans find her odango ridiculous, everyone of us agrees that ChibiUsa should receive an award in Kawaii-ness. This is ChibiUsa's most famous trait. Vejjiechan says, you need a good dose of pink!
   ChibiUsa takes after Usagi a lot, as she passed on her passion and caring for others onto her daughter. Small Lady is very protective, in my opinion, making her the ideal senshi. ChibiUsa risked her life for Hotaru after knowing her for not even a day. Pretty ardent, if you ask me.
   I'll sum up the rest. ChibiUsa's is more concerned about the welfare of her friends and family than anyone could have dreamed possible. (Well, except Ms. Tekeuchi, of course.) In fact, she's so caring, that she risks her own well-being to save her family, and kingdom, at that. Very promising future queen.

Why I Love the Pink One

All the positive reasons above, and much, much more. ChibiUsa has all the things I look for in a good character ,,, innermost feelings, desire, and some type of physical appeal. ChibiUsa is a young girl, but she knows the qualities of honest sacrifice and bold persistence. Traits that I yearn for, myself. People who say she's evil haven't taken a good look at the small rabbit. I urge you to eat some pink sugar and relent! Arigato!
