my class.

Hello there. This part of the site is dedicated to my great homeroom class of B batch 2002. Our class is divided into several clans that have their own unique personality. Let me start by reviewing all the five clans of the class. Prep up, this is a very long page.
tytartz.
Ah yes, the TZ clan. Founded back in our freshmen years by Paul Tansioco, this clan may as well be called the breadwinners of the class. In almost every school contest, it can be assured that at least one member of this clan participates. Hehheh, we don't really win all of them, but hey, we try, don't we? Many contests have come and gone, and thank goodness we actually win some of them.
The defining factor of a [tz] clan member is his musical preference. Majority, if not all, listen to at least one form of rock. May it be funk, punk, rap, or old-school, the members listen to them. And they don't just listen to them. All of the members play at least one musical instrument. Most of them are even in a band. Bjorn Chua for example, is a member of In Search of Billy, a band recently featured in the magazine Pulp, the official mag of Tower Records. And although everyday of our schoolyear we make fun of Bjorn, everyday we treat him like dirt, we are still proud of him. Well, sorta.
[tz] is the class clown clan. Or something like that... Depend on Bjorn to lighten up any bad day with his "I can't speak A.P." quotes and his "Does the penis have two holes?" brand of questions.
[TZ]. The motley crew of rockers, clowns, and musicians.

SJ's Happy Pals
SJ's Happy Pals is a buch of people who are, well, happy (not gay, just happy :p). They were formed just during our sophomore year. It was founded and currently governed by SJ Gatmaitan, also known as the mime. I guess one of their defining factors (although its not really that defined) is their addiction to their mobile phones. It's not really evident, that is, until you've seen some of their projects. Computer class. Macky Claudio makes a Nokia tribute page along with his partner, Miguel Carlos. Go figure.
Another unique feature of this clan is their drinking habit. They are self-proclaimed natural drinkers. They usually bring booze almost anywhere they go (I'd like to point out the almost in the sentence). I really hope they don't beat me up for this.
Over all, the HP clan can be considered the all around clan. They have a particular liking to sports such as basketball. They have students who have superior IQ and high grades as well. And they're not really the worst hit with the girls either *nudge nudge*. So any member of this clan is quite versatile.
Sporty, geeky, heartthrob, whatever. It's SJHP.

To.
The To (pronounced to as in TOrment) clan is also a new clan. Like the SJHP's, this group was founded by Toffee Topacio just this schoolyear. The characteristic that sets them apart from other clans is their passion for sports, mainly basketball. They have superstar members such as Karlo Pujanes and Toffee Topacio himself. Trust me, these guys make a killing in basketball. I've had the opportunity to play with these these guys during our class outing and let me tell you, they're NBA material (actually it was a close game and I'm sure we would have won it if I was actually in the mood to play) Hehhehehehe... Let's move on.
Concerning the babe department, the clan will not be beat. It hosts some fine young gentelmen who are constantly in the minds and hearts of a platoon of hormone-raging women. In the public service department, they do great too, thanks to the third year batch representative (and soon to be high school chairman) Emil Coronel. He has successfully organized major events (with the help of the whole class, of course) such as the sophomore night, and the annual fair.
So if you're looking for a jock who's got it all, look at the To clan.

NgoNgi
Relatively new clan. Still unconfirmed if founded by Rieger Cruz or Mel Reyes. Knowing these two, it really makes no diferrence as they are identical. Even though it's headed by nobody, the clan's doing great. Their distinctive feature? Girls. This group contains two of the major heart-throbs of female and male (aaaay! Fafa! *uhurm*) race. The two I am talking about are Rieger Cruz and Dino de Jesus.
Another unique thing about this clan is their conyo approach. Yes. They go for price rather than practicality. They usually spend a couple of hundred grand shopping for their underwear or something. But of course, they always deny it. "Di ako conyo, ah!" said by Dino. Hah. Bull.
They are also a force to reckon with in sports. With the future UAAP star player Rieger in their ranks, its almost a sure win in basketball (they always get pounded by To). But nevertheless, they have a very solid team. They even have Rommel "The Wall" Reyes grabbing the rebounds. They even have the guts to face bigger and meaner senior players during P.E. time. And I think they won over them with the help of Karlo Pujanes from another clan. Class unity. Hoorah.
Girls and balls (basket, mind you). Whatta Ngo-Ngi combination.

Templo's Pawns
This select few comprised of a bunch of totally unique individuals collected by the GrandMaster Bernardo Templo call themselves aptly, Templo's Pawns. Obviously, most of the group members have quite an ability in the strategic game known as chess. Their frontman was even previously featured in one of the nation's leading newspapers.
But even though they form one specific group, it doesn't mean that they confine themselves to their own circle. All of them are drifters who often hang out in diferrent clans. This is one of their strengths. They can bond to another clan and both give and recieve help. Most of them are geniuses. Intellectual machines that offer help that often they need themselves.
But they have other assets. Most of them are very involved in sports. Michael Luistro and Phillip Tantoco, for example, are members of the Ateneo Swimming Team who have previously succeeded in bringing home medals from various tournaments. They are also into colectible card games. Miguel Ramos enjoys playing Pokemon the card game. Almost all the others play a more mature and brain busting card game known as Magic: The Gathering.
What the mind can concieve, Templo's Pawns can achieve (hey, it's 11pm and I can't think straight).
