Xira
Xira stood among the candidates, balancing herself on the balls of her feet. She and Xe' hadn't really been meant for each other... her lips curled over in a half sneer, half laugh. They would have driven each other nuts by now! Chuckling at the memory, she turned back to the hatching, watching. Tiyanni had agreed to let her stay, just for the hatching, since she did have candidate potential. But now... she worried. Shrugging, she pulled the robe around her more tightly. It wasn't that she was cold, it was that she felt much more at ease with the robe covering her... ah... weapons. She had refused to go any where with out them, and she was certain that people were used to it by now.
It was then that the gold hatchling hatched, and without casting a look around the group of candidates, walked defiantly towards Xira, stopping by her feet. Looking down, their eyes met and a brief challenge was acknowledged between the two. The two who were to become rider and dragon. Xira... I am Agcaniyth the gold announced, her eyes gleaming against the gold hide.
"Its a pleasure to meet you..."

Yes! No Yes! No Why not?
Rising from the tub, glaring at the gold, she looked around and rolled her eyes. They were alone, and for that, she was happy. Changing into her gear and clothing, she looked over warily at Agcaniyth. "I have permission to go running off back to the Vella Crean to help Shy. But you." she looked over the small golden hatchling. "I can't risk taking you along with me." she grinned. "Tiyanni would have my head if you died." 'Course, there is a chance I won't be alive by then... but she refused to acknowledge the thought. She didn't know what it was like to bond with a hatchling, a dragon which seemed to know her every thought, her emotions. Turning to the gold hatchling, she chuckled. "Cani" she said, pronouncing the C as an S. "You know that if I take you over, theres a chance you'll die. I'm only going away for an hour... I'm not missing any classes, and its not like anyone can kill me." she grinned at the thought. "I'm the best there is."
