Did data analysis of raw survey data from animal market to design the compost plant.
Modified the windrow compost plant to suit the data size and regional environment.

South East Asian Local Solid Waste Improvement Project (SEALSWIP),
Funded by Canadian International Development Agency
Used the theme of solid waste management to introduce the concept of good governance, stakeholder and community participation.
Responsible for giving technical advise (on all aspects of solid waste management) to all the five project sites in Thailand, Indonesia and Philippines.
Developed a guideline on how to make regional master plan for solid waste management for all the project sites.
Developed a computer model for policy makers on how to plan for waste reduction and disposal options.
Designed and developed a website for the project, so that all the project sites could know about what is happening on the other site.

Able to balance pure research, applied/field research and capacity building.
Project Management for Udon Thani, Thailand.
Assisted the municipality in achieving their work plan schedule on public awareness and education on proper solid waste management, waste separation, better collection and disposal.
Facilitated stakeholder committee meetings and meetings of other sub committees and meetings with community - and prepared minutes of the meeting.
Developed an evaluation program for the above-mentioned programs, prepared baseline format to establish benchmark for the project and indicators to measure and monitor the progress of the project.
Assessed the technical and economic feasibility of a pilot project on integrated disposal of solid waste in the municipality of Udon Thanee, North East Thailand.
Assisted in planning of closure of existing landfill site and training for opening of new engineered landfill site.
Developed proposal for household hazardous waste to prevent it from going to landfill site.
Developed public education and awareness program on waste management like waste exchange programs, quiz and painting competitions for school kids etc.
Designed flyers to be distributed to the houses participating in waste separation programs and brochures for managing household hazardous waste and alternatives.

Organized an International seminar on Solid Waste Management in New Delhi with over 150 participants from India and different parts of the world. The seminar was sponsored by organizations like UNESCO, NORAD (Norwegian), Swedish Development Agency (SIDA), Ministry of Non Conventional Energy Sources, Central Pollution Control Board.
