Crunch.
Ecstasy smiles as the taste of cheddar bursts over his tongue. He is a strong believer in the little things, like long hair and soft clothes and the cheerful smiles on these little fish. He makes two crackers converse in squeaky voices before giggling and swimming them into his mouth.
The world, he decides, is made a much happier place because of fish crackers. He feels warm and safe here with his snack and his friends.
He watches some of those friends intereacting in the lounge. Monologue sits on the couch with his brother's head in his lap, massaging the tension from Soliloquy's temples. On his stomache on the floor, feet kicking idly, Onanism plays solitaire with a tarot deck, a hand-painted gift from Delicacy. Near the door Malevolence and Cantata argue over what sorts of candy to hand out next Thursday.
Ecstasy himself can't wait for Hallowe'en, for the costumes and the candy and the seasonal show they'll be putting on.
In the meantime, however, he has his fish and his friends. He is happy.
