Okay Where to Begin!
Well I was born at Old Grace Hospital in Detroit Michigan. From there I went home which was in Warren Michigan where I was raised. I left from there right after High school. Where I Joined he Army. I was the first Coed basic trainning at Ft Dix Nj. OH the Army life.. HAHAHA I did enjoy it. Then I married a WONDERFUL man. He was also in the army. We stayed in for 20 years 22 days. Now Retired, Living happy in Alabama.
During Our stay in the Army we met some Very WONDERFUL perople. One of them which is SOOOOO Close in my heart it is like she is never gone. And She is Judy. We went thru some tugh times But More happy then not. And the best thing is that we are still FRIENDS and STILL CLOSE. *smiles*
While in the Army you meet so many people an make friends then when they have to move our you hve to move on to the next duty assignment, you lose touch. Which is the sad thing. But for the Most part while being in the Army your Friends were your family. Becasue of being so far away from your loved ones. And when you do get to go home It is Like your No longer Family your a Guest now. I guess No One will ever Understand this Unless you have been in the Military your self.
I have come to learn over the Years that NO matter who hurts you (FAMILY Or Friends) Never Hold a Grudge. And always know the true Meaning of Forgiveness. Even if the Other person does not know what it is. Oh Yes I have hurt Family an Friends. I am not proud of it. BUT I have not hrut as BAD as I was hurt. And yet I forgive and hold no grudges!
While in the Army Dave and I bagan our Life together! We were Married almost 5 years when that wonderful day came that the Dr needed to talk to Dave an my self. That is when he congratulated us and told us were were going to be Parents. That was the happiest day of our lives. I had been told by several Dr's that I could not have children. But here I was having this Miracle Baby! We did not want to know what the baby was until he/she was born. On November 1st of that year. In Heidleberg Germany. (All Saints Day) My son was born. Shortly after His Birth (about 5 weeks) we were on our way back to the United States. Where we had to go thru customs to prove he was American. (pasport birth certificate etc.) And on to our next assignment. Ft. Campbell Ky. here we come. *hahah* We were there only 3 months when the Dr said Congratulations again! And again we did not want to know what the baby was. December 23rd we found out it was our beautiful lil girl.
We stayed in Ky for about 2 years then was shipped back over to germany. we were there for a few years before Saudi Broke out. But at the time Saudi actually started (the fighting) Me an the Children had went back to the States.
