-Part 3- Eyes that Witnessed
Madness [Thursday. 2 am. Weiss Apartment.] Aya woke. He looked over at Hidaka, who slept peacefully, an arm
slung over Aya. He smiled. Ken did seem like the snuggling type. He slid out
from under Ken and padded down the hallway. He paused and opened Tsukiyono’s
door. The poor boy had fallen asleep over his computer again. Lovingly, Aya
picked him up and slid him into his bed, pulling the sheets around him. He
gently kissed his forehead. “Gomen nasai, I took Hidaka from you, Tsukiyono.. I
just wanted the happiness you had.. I hope you can forgive me, dear Bombay..”
He gently touched the boy’s cheek and walked silently out of the room. As he
closed the door, he looked up as a shadow fell over him. He trembled and his
eyes traveled up. Kudou. Aya cried out quietly. “No, No! Please!” Yohji grabbed his arm. “The happiness Tsukiyono had? I don’t give
you happiness, Aya?” Aya looked down. “Hai.. anou... Iie.” Yohji’s dark emerald eyes turned to a burning anger and he swiftly
slapped Aya. “Wrong Answer.” Aya clutched his face and bent down, to avoid future hits. “You..
You can’t handle the truth..” Yohji raised his knee, hitting him straight in the chest, sending
him spinning off into Yohji’s room. Aya coughed roughly, a small amount of blood escaped his lips as
Yohji grabbed him, throwing him into the wall. Again and again he hit Aya, blow
after blow as Aya screamed, begging him to stop. Aya was thrown to the floor,
his clothing yanked away. “I’ll teach you..” Aya cried as Yohji pulled him up, thrusting deeply inside Aya. He
lowered his head, tears sliding down his cheeks, hitting the floor below. How
could he let Yohji do this? How? He couldn’t fight back. Yohji would just beat
him the next night, or he could even hurt Hidaka. He remembered Yohji’s threat, that if Hidaka woke up to Aya’s
screams, he’d kill him. Aya cried quietly, as Yohji thrust deeper. Aya turned
slightly to hit Yohji, but was punched straight in the face, making him scream
in pain again, and he finally fell silent. What seemed to be ages later, Yohji heaved Aya out into the
hallway, clad only in his shorts and a bedsheet wrapped around him. Aya laid silently in front of Tsukiyono’s door. “I wanted your
happiness.. Tsukiyono.. and even now.. I’m still dead inside..” He held his
hands up in front of him, looking at the crimson blood which stained his
fingers. “Someday, I’ll hold love in these hands.. a perfect love.. you’ll
see...” [Friday. 8 am. Weiss Apartment.] Ken woke up early that day for some reason. Well, early for him,
anyway. It was about ten or so when he finally got up and went into the
hallway. It was still dark with all the lights off and all, and he nearly
tripped over Fujimiya on his way out. “What the hell? Say, what are you doing
out here...?” Maybe he missed something... Aya was jolted awake when he
suddenly looked up. Pushing his way out of the sheet, bruises marring his arms
as he quickly re-wrapped himself, noticing them, and struggling to stand from
Tsukiyono's door. Which was across from Kudou's. “I fell asleep..” he said
quietly. “You fell asleep on the floor outside Omi’s door in the middle of
the night?” Hmm, somehow, that didn't
sound quite right. “Is everything ok?”
Of course Aya would say it was, but, it never hurt to ask. Aya looked down at his bruised hands. “I went to talk to Tsukiyono
last night and... and..” he remained
silent, just staring at him. God forbid Ken pull at the sheet. “And what?” Ken couldn't
figure out what talking to Omi and falling asleep outside his door had to do
with one another. Aya's eyes shifted over to Yohji's door as he stood swaying
slightly. He pulled the sheet tighter around him, protectively, and rubbed his
eyes lightly. “I didn't bother Tsukiyono.. he was asleep.. you were too.” So vague. What was going on? "So... so that's it? You didn't feel like bothering us, so
rather than go back to bed, you decided you'd just spend the rest of the night
out here?" Ken gave him a funny look. “And just what did you want to ask
us about, anyway? It must've been pretty important if you got up in the middle
of the night just to tell us something...” Aya walked down the hallway, and slid into his room, and as quickly
as he could fumbled around grabbing a large sweater, and at the same time,
pulling it on as he dropped the sheet, but still a large glimpse of bruises was
shown, practically screaming to Ken of
a problem. "Important?" he said quietly, not realizing Ken
might have seen anything. "Just.." Ken waited outside the door as Aya got dressed. “Are you sure
you're alright, Aya? Is there something that I should know about? Did something
happen last night?” Ken had seen the bruises, but he knew better than to
overreact about it. It would just upset Aya again. He had noticed the new ones.
Something was definately up. Best to just ask vaguely. Aya shook his head. “No. No Ken. I'm not okay. Isn't it
obvious?” he shook slightly, not only
with anger but with fear. “Well, I, uhh...” I guess it was pretty obvious, but, Ken didn't
want to upset him any further by bringing it up. I guess it was too late for
that though. “What the hell happened last night?” Aya scowled, and walked back into the hallway, and looked at Yohji's door merely staring at it.
“You were asleep.. that's what happened.”
He quickly turned when Yohji walked out of the door, and visibly
flinched as the older man brushed past him. He looked back at Ken, refusing to
meet his eyes. “Just what the hell is that supposed to mean? You could have woken
me up, you know.” He watched as Yohji
walked past. Most likely something had happened between the two. “Were you guys
in a fight or something?” Aya's eyes widened. “It's
nothing.” He swayed slightly, bumping into the wall and cried out, clutching
one of his arms, which were bruised already. “It's obvious that you're lying... I mean, just look at you, Aya!
Christ, you look like shit.” Ken didn't really know what else to say. Aya scowled. “It's nothing.
You weren't there. It's nothing.” he said, and slowly began to walk to his
room. “Whatever...” Ken should probably feel sorry for the poor guy,
right? I mean, it wasn't his fault that any of this had happened. But, for some
reason, Ken was pissed. He could have come and gotten him, right? If he wanted
to pretend like everything was his fault, then let him. [Saturday. 5pm. Weiss Apartment.] Aya leaned over Ken, who was laying on the couch and looked at him.
They had fought yesterday, and Aya had stormed away and not spoken to Ken
since. He gently pulled at Ken’s hair, and looked at his lover. “Gomen
nasai...” Ken reached up, and touched Aya’s hands, his eyes remaining
closed. “You can tell me things, you know..you’re not Superman. You can’t solve
everything for yourself always.” Aya smiled weakly. “I know.. arigatou.. for always being here for
me.. for doing everything for me..” Ken opened his eyes, getting upset again. “Huh? What the hell have
I ever done for you? Answer me that, Fujimiya. I've never been able to help you
when you needed it, I've never been able to stand up for you, I've never even
been able to make you happy or even talk to you when you needed advice! You can
stop saying that you love me, cause you know what? I don't deserve to hear
it.” He looked around. Aya grabbed him, hugging him tightly. “Just being around you...
makes me happy...You don't need to be my knight in shining armor.. or my
savior.. I do love you.. and you deserve it every time I say it.. It's me who
doesn't deserve you, Hidaka..” He pushed his crimson hair from his eyes,
amethyst jewels obviously bothered with a hidden problem. “Gomen...I shouldn't
have taken you from Tsukiyono.. you were probably so much happier..” It was then that Ken started to get a little angry. “Don't even
bring him into this! This has nothing to do with Omi, or anyone else besides
you, and me! And no, I wasn't happier with him! There's only one thing that I'm
sure of anymore, and that's you. If I didn't have you, Fujimiya, I don't know
what I'd do...” Aya grabbed him by his collar, pulling him back, close to the
redhead. Warm tears spilled down Aya's cheeks, splashing Ken's lightly. “I’m sorry, okay? There’s just so much going
on, so much to handle, and the shit with Kudou..” “Kudou?! Don't even bring up his name!” Ken was pissed, and the
last thing he wanted to think about was Kudou, of all people. "Look, I don't
think we should see each other anymore ok?" It was hard for Ken to say,
but come on! He felt so useless. All he ever did was cause more trouble for
Aya. Aya's eyes widened and he stepped back. He narrowed his amethyst
eyes and glared angrily. “...Don’t know what you’d do, eh?” He flung off his apron and ran upstairs to
his room. He laid down on his bed, and cried. It still smelled like Ken. “God dammit!!” Ken yelled. Could nothing ever go right anymore?
Great, after attempting to fix things, Ken had in fact, made them even worse.
Much worse... It wasn't often that Aya walked away from him like that, much
less ran! Poor Kenken was so confused. Of course he didn't want to leave Aya,
but, what other choice did he have? It seemed like ever since they had gotten
together, everything had started to fall apart. Ken walked over to the bottom
of the stairs and just... stood there for a moment. Should he follow Aya right
away, or give him some time alone...? “Oh, fuck it!” Ken went running up the stairs after him. Aya stood up and walked around the room dizzily. His head ached
badly and he clutched it, trying to get the pain to go away. He whined softly,
as he cried, and as Ken ran up the stairs, a loud crash from upstairs was
heard, as Aya punched the window, shattering it and slicing his fist to
ribbons. He slid down beside the broken window, pulling glass from his hand and
cried, and slowly once again slipped into unconsciousness on the floor, his
bloody fist staining a random shirt underneath it. “Fujimiya, I...” Oh great,
now what had happened?! Ken had managed to cause yet another unfortunate
accident in only the short amount of time that he was gone. He ran over to Aya
and knelt down beside him. “Fujimiya, what the hell were you thinking?” Ken lifted him up and set him down on the
bed. Great, just fucking great! Ken knew absolutely nothing when it came to
playing doctor. “Omi!” He went running down the hall and pounded on the other
boy's door. Aya opened his eyes, and clutched his fist as he heard Hidaka's cries
for Omi through the house. He whined “Hidaka” quietly and was suddenly cold, and looking up, he remembered what he
did. He punched the window because of his anger. It was that or take it out on
Tsukiyono. He was happier hurting the window then the shiny ray of light that
Tsukiyono was. He laid quietly, tears sliding down his cheeks. Hidaka didn't
care, why did he bother getting Omi for help? But that was it. Ken did care.
And Aya knew so deep down inside. Omi’s door quickly, only to find his beloved Kenken, standing
there, and screaming at him for help. “Ken-kun? What's wrong, what is it?” “It's Fujimiya!” That was
all that Ken had time to say. He was dragging the poor boy to his room and
shoving him over to the bed before he even had time to say anything. Aya winced slightly when he saw Tsukiyono, moreover a shocked
expression slid across that pale face when he saw how badly Ken had rushed to
get help. The broken window let in a gentle breeze, and bloody glass laid all
over the floor. Omi's eyes widened, but,
he knew better than to ask any questions. “Go and bring me the bandages,
Ken-kun, and the... and the...” Ken didn't have time to hear the rest of that sentence. He was too
busy rushing down the hall and looking for anything that looked like it might
be of use. Aya cried softly, tears slid down his cheeks. He reached up to
Tsukiyono with his good hand, his wobbly eyes looked so mournful. “ Arigatou..”
He choked out, still weak from the whole ordeal. Something was seriously wrong
with Fujimiya, this was the second time he had fainted.. he closed his eyes,
his breathing hitched slightly, and he passed out. Ken rushed back into the room and handed Omi everything that he
had been able to find. “Here, I didn't know what you wanted, so I just grabbed
everything. Is he gonna be alright?” Omi nodded. “Just as long
as you brought me what I asked you to.”
He sorted through the things and grabbed some bandages, as Ken watched
him closely. Geez, it's not like Omi was going to purposely screw up or
something! Aya laid silently, his hurt hand was still bleeding, little pieces
cut apart his shirt from where he had collapsed. His breathing was hard and
harshly hitched and a single tear slid down his cheek, but Aya didn't open his
eyes. Ken hopped around nervously, wondering why Aya's eyes were closed.
“Why is he like that? Why isn't he awake?!” “Please Ken! I'm trying to work here. I'm sure he'll be just
fine.” Omi wrapped up Aya's arm the best he could. He was certainly no doctor,
but he was used to having to fix people up. After all, somebody had to be able
to. “Well...?” Ken looked down
at Aya. He still wasn't awake. “Oh, come on, Fujimiya, wake up!!!” Ken needed him to be here, he needed to talk
to him! Ken was busy yelling away at Omi and Fujimiya, although he wasn't
even sure that he could still hear him. “What's wrong with him, why isn't he
waking up?! Dammit Fujimiya, how could you do this to me?!” “Please, Ken-kun!” Omi
needed some time to concentrate. Should they call the hospital, or would that
be too risky? “Should I call for help...?” Aya tried to open his eyes,
tears streamed down his cheek. He reached up, and tried to touch
Hidaka's hand, but his fingers trembled. Why was this happening to him? He
coughed harshly, and gasped and suddenly stopped breathing. His face lost color
before his eyes opened again and he gasped for air, coughing. "God dammit, listen to me, you can't die on me now, not now!
Aya, if anything happens to you, anything at all, I'll never forgive myself! I
can't live without you, don't you understand that? You're my only reason for
living...” Aya's eyes widened and he coughed heavily. He opened his mouth
slightly, his hand touched Hidaka. “Aishiteru...” Aya clutched Hidaka's hand, warm tears spilling over his pale
cheeks. His breathing decreased, he only inhaled once every five seconds. He
closed his eyes, his face twisted in pain, he whined quietly, the words barely
recognizable, but they whispered slowly but surly, "Hidaka.. " Yohji walked in hearing the loud screams, and as he was about to
yell, a look of fear crossed his eyes. “Fujimiya? Fujimiya!!” he cried, running
to the side of the bed. Ken didn't know what to do
either. He was terrible at making decisions like these. “Aya, Aya tell me what
to do, please. I don't want you to die... I can't let you die!” He turned to Yohji again. “You did this! You
did this didn’t you, you bastard!” He said, and hit Yohji, trying to knock him
away. He began to cry softly. “Ken, Ken calm down!” Omi said as Yohji waved his arms wildly,
denying hurting Aya. “Let him help, he can help Aya..” Aya coughed, barely breathing. “Ken-kun..if anything happens.. take
care of Aya-chan for me.. ne?” Ken cried in hyserics, clinging to Aya’s arm, tears sliding down
his cheeks as he sobbed. “What are you saying? No, no you’re not leaving me!” Yohji bent over Aya, and pulled it him up lightly. “Fujimiya..
Fujimiya, I'm gonna help you.. okay?”
Aya smiled weakly, and Yohji rubbed his back lovingly and gave him a
little water, that looked to have some sort of medicine in it. Aya sputtered
and shook lightly, and suddenly stopped breathing. “What the fuck?!?!" Ken was hysterical. “I should've known
better! Aya, Aya are you alright?! What if he's dead?! What if we killed
him?!” He grabbed ahold of him.
“Fujimiya!” Yohji began to cry and suddenly Aya sputtered and he leaned over
the bed, and began coughing up more blood. Alot of blood. It almost looked
metallic, and Yohji frowned, with almost a fake upset face that Tsukiyono
caught, and frowned at. “He was poisoned.” Tsukiyono studied Yohji’s face and slowly narrowed his tiny azure
eyes. Something was wrong. Very wrong. Aya closed his eyes and rested against Kudou, and his breathing
became normal. “ ....” “Thank god... Fujimiya, Fujimiya are you alright? How could he be
poisoned if Tsukiyono makes all the food?”
Ken still wasn't quite sure what all had happened. I mean, one minute
he's down stairs arguing with him, and the next... “I'm just glad you're still here.” Omi scowled. “I didn’t poison Aya!! He may have gotten food
poisoning elsewhere, but it wasn’t me! Is there something wrong with your
chest, Aya-kun?” He opened his eyes, his violet eyes looked normal and he glanced up.
He sighed lightly, curling up in Kudou's lap. “I keep fainting...” Kudou nuzzled him lightly. “Your okay, ne?” Aya nodded sleepily, and reached out to hold Hidaka. “I want Ken..” Ken put his arms around Aya and held him close, pulling him out of
Kudou’s lap and into his own. “If anything would have happened to you...” he
was still a little confused, but that was alright. At least Aya was ok now.
Poor Ken, this was his fault yet again, or so he blamed himself. If only he
hadn’t left Fujimiya alone! He'd make sure that nothing else came between them
though. Aya hugged him. “Hidaka, Hidaka... please... don't leave me...” He
coughed again, as Omi bent down, looking at the metallic blood. Ken gently stroked Aya’s cheek. “Shh, I won’t leave you, I won’t..
shh, my beloved..” Omi bent over so that he could get a closer look at the blood.
“Aya-kun...” There was so much blood. Why was he suddenly throwing it up? Was
there something wrong with his throat? Aya looked up. “Huh?” Kudou looked over. “Nani yo, Omi?” “Hmmm, Aya, are you feeling okay? Let me take a look at you..” Aya pulled off his shirt, to let Omi check him for any more wounds,
and Yohji spied the horrible bruises that marred his back. “Oi, Aya, my god! Where did all these come from?” Aya remained silent, but finally spoke. “A mission.” He uttered. Yohji's eyes narrowed, as Ken looked over Aya’s back. “Hai, I noticed them the other day when we left..” Ken said,
eyeing Yohji. Aya narrowed his eyes and looked at Yohji. “Yohji.. I can't do
this.. regardless of how you feel.. You hurt me, when I do something wrong, and
you really don't think twice about it... Hidaka.. Hidaka would never hurt
me...” Well... not on purpose, that is. But, Ken was hurting him just as
long as they stayed together. Maybe Ken was just bad luck or something...
“Kudou...” But, Ken stopped himself before he had a chance to finish that
sentence. After all, he didn't want to start anything now. Not after Yohji had
actually managed to do something helpful for once. Ken crossed his arms and stood in the corner while Youji tried
yet again to get Aya back. Wouldn't this guy ever give up? He watched as Youji
finally left the room. Ken was really starting to get sick and tired of things.
Of everything. Of everyone. He needed to have a serious talk with Aya. But, not
yet. Not until he was feeling up to it. So, for now, Ken put on a happy face,
just like he always did. “Wow Fujimiya, I'm glad you're ok.” Aya stumbled slightly, and walked over to Ken. He gently touched his
cheek, and sighed. “We.. we need to talk...” he stumbled over to the bed,
motioning for Tsukiyono to leave, after pulling closed the curtains. He glanced
down at the blood on the floor, and clicked on a light, and sat down. “Huh? About what? Everything's fine. Everything's just fine.” Ken didn't feel up to talking about it right
now. Besides, Fujimiya already had enough to worry about without listening to
his stupid problems. “I mean, you're ok now, right? So then, what's there to
talk about?” He looked down. “ I...I can't do this. Your unhappy. It's obvious.
I'm not going to tie you down when you can't even talk to me, Ken...” “Huh? What makes you say
that? Of course I'm happy! Just as long as I have you, everything is just
perfect.” Just fucking perfect. Sure, Ken liked being with Aya, but did Aya
like being with him? And even if he did, this was getting downright ridiculous!
Everytime they were together, something bad would happen. Aya narrowed his eyes. Hidaka couldn't hide anything. “Ken. You suck
at lying. Tell me the truth. Now.” “Huh...? What, what are
you talking about, Fujimiya? Have I ever lied to you?” Ken looked at the
ground. It would be hard to explain to Aya just what he wanted when he wasn't
even sure himself. " I want..." he paused for a moment and
thought. “I want you to be happy.
That's what I want... What can I do for you, Aya? Anything?” Aya sighed. “Just rest with me.. please.” Aya laid down on the bed,
as Ken curled up with him. He thought deeply. God, what was he going to do. [Later that Evening. Koneko No Sume Ie
Rooftop] Yohji smoked quietly on the rooftop, ignoring the redhaired partner
beside him. “You let them find out.” He uttered. Schuldich growled, grabbing Yohji’s wrist and flipping him towards
the redhead. “No. You did. You didn’t stop it as it showed Omi. Too bad for it, looks like it must have hurt to
show it off.” Yohji growled angrily. “You almost killed it! Why did you poison
it?” Schuldich smirked. “Nice touch, huh? Wasn’t meant to kill it,
merely made it’s condition worse. You beat the hell out of it all the time,
remember. Not me.” Yohji looked down, flicking ashes off into the night sky. “I just
don’t understand it. And Siberian knows something is wrong with it. ” Schuldich frowned. “Then just be more careful, you idiot.” Yohji nodded. “Ara.. Hai.” He dropped the cigarette, letting it
fall to the ground. He watched the orange sparks move over the concrete and
flicker out. Just like Aya’s once-lit spirit. [Thursday. 8:30am. Weiss Apartment.] Aya and Ken woke tiredly as Yohji had barged roughly into the room,
shaking them both from there sleep. Aya screamed angrily, and hit Yohji to keep
him away. “Get out! I’m not your toy anymore!” Yohji grabbed him and slapped him, hard. The crack echoed through
the room as Tsukiyono crept outside the door to watch, afraid for Fujimiya. Aya clutched his cheek,
almost in shock. And didn't move, just buried his face into his pale hands. Aya
cried out, screaming angrily. “You tried to kill me! You poisoned me, Yohji!
Get out! Get out now!” Ken raised an eyebrow. “He.. what?” Hidaka was mad. No. He was
furious. Aya nearly died, and now Yohji was back trying to get him again? No.
No. This wasn’t going to due. Not at all. Yohji stumbled over and grabbed him. “I did it because I loved you
Fujimiya! I wanted you so damn badly!” Aya yanked away. “Iie!” Ken
stood up and watched Aya crawl into a corner and pull his knees up close to his
chest. He looked like a little boy. Ken frowned angrily, and punched Yohji roughly across the face. He
wasn’t about to treat him as badly as how he treated his victims on missions,
but he was damn close. “Get over it! You’re an asshole, Fujimiya hates you!” Kudou clutched his jaw with his mouth, and staggered back a foot.
With quick reflexs he raised his knee, slamming it into Ken’s chest.
“Fujimiya’s already broken.. and I’m the one who broke him, Hidaka!” Such an asshole, Yohji said it with smugness
in his voice. Ken’s eyebrow rose at that comment. He didn’t understand it, but
he also knew it wasn’t good. He grabbed Yohji by his thick chocolate hair, and
slammed him into the wall. He pinned his arm back, causing the older man to
scream. Hidaka let go of Yohji as the older man stumbled back gently wiped
Aya's tears, and kissed his cheek. “Because I wanted you back, so badly..” Ken shook his head in disbelief. Yohji was unbelievable! To stoop
that low, nearly killing Fujimiya... and yet Fujimiya still forgave him. What
the hell was his problem? Aya looked down, his
amethyst eyes dazed slightly.
“G-gomen... I... I thought you hated me, Yohji...” Yohji shook his head. “ I never ever could...” Aya closed his eyes, and slid to his knees. “I can't be with you
Yohji.. you went to so much trouble, but you hurt me so badly... Ken tries to
be perfect, he'd never lay a finger on me unless I wished it.. He wants to be
perfect so he doesn't upset me, and you.. you.. you raped me!” Yohji bent down,
and combed his fingers through Aya's hair. “I can fix everything, we can start
over all over again, Aya.. I swear, I can change for you...” Aya turned his eyes upward. Oh no! He was being persuaded! “Honto.”
he said, not sounding interested at all, but in fact, was he? Ken waited off to the side
of the room while the two talked. It was between the two of them, and it was
really none of his business. He could hear every word that was said, of course,
but he wasn't about to interrupt their little conversation. Not unless Kudou
went and tried something. But until then, all that Ken could do was just watch.
It was up to Aya who he chose to be with. Ken just hoped he made the right
decision. He hoped that Aya knew what he was doing. And meanwhile, Omi stood over in the opposite corner of the room,
listening to what appeared to be Kudou's attempt at getting Aya back. Would it
work...? Well, let's just say that he would be pretty stupid to go back with
someone like that. Even Fujimiya wasn't that dumb, was he? Omi could only hope. Kudou smiled lightly. He had Aya. he HAD him! Kudou leaned down and
kissed Aya. “Onegai Aya, onegai.. I'll make everything okay..” He pulled Aya
close, and gently kissed him. His eyes widened as Aya kissed him back ever so
slightly, not moving at all. He pulled away a moment later, and closed his
eyes. Ken could hardly believe what he was seeing! How dare Aya even
consider getting back with him! What was wrong with him? Was Ken really that
bad that he'd go back to someone who had nearly killed him rather than be with
him?! “You know what...” He was about to say that he gave up. That if being
with Kudou was what he really wanted, then so be it. Just as long as he was
happy. Only, he couldn't seem to find the words. And so, rather than get upset
in front of him, Ken left. Aya stood up. “Gomen nasai Yohji... but I love Kenken.” He said quietly, and walked out the door
after Ken, knowing that Ken heard what he said. Ken was still waiting outside of the door. Had Aya really meant
what he said? Was he really going to choose him over Youji, or was he just
saying that? He waited for Aya to speak. Aya leaned forward and kissed Ken lightly, shrugging gently. “It was
a goodbye kiss. Don't get jealous.” He
smiled slightly. “I may forgive him.. but that doesn't mean my heart does..”
Aya wiped his mouth with the back of his wrist and sighed. Ken had to laugh at that
one. “You had me worried for a minute there, Fujimiya.” He sighed. It was a
good thing that he hadn't chosen to go back to Kudou. I guess... Aya looked at him concerned. “Your.. your not happy...” “What? What do you mean? Sure I am. Why wouldn't I be?” Aya looked down. “Ken... it's just... you seem unhappy... and
Tsukiyono.. Tsukiyono... he hasn't been the same... since.. since...” Ken shook his head. “I know. But, what are we supposed to do about
it?" I mean, come one now, it wasn't their problem anymore. Ken didn't
want to think about Omi. Not ever again. Because, he had Aya now, and that was
really all that he needed. Aya tilted his head
slightly. “I... I don't know.” He coughed, and leaned against the wall. It was
time to be honest. Not only with his lover, but with himself. “..I lied to
you.. about Kudou... Ken-kun..” Ken tilted his head to the side, as he often did when he was
confused about something. “What do you mean?” What else could Kudou possibly
have done that he hadn't already...? Aya walked silently into
Ken's old room and sat on the bed. "Remember that night I came in crying,
and I told you I had a bad dream?" He nodded. 'What about it...?" Uh oh... Ken didn't like where
this was going. Aya gulped, a tear slid down his cheek. “I went to go see Tsukiyono, and he caught me in the hall..
Yohji.. Yohji constantly dragged me out of bed... and I’d get shoved into his
room...” he cried softly. “He.. he
raped.. and.. beat...” He lowered his head,
embarrassed. “That's how Yohji 'loved' me.. he would have sex and beat
me..” He cried softly, and suddenly
clung to himself, not wanting Ken to look at his clothes, at the fresh batch of
bruises from last night's rape. Ken could hardly believe
it. Just when he was starting to think that maybe Kudou wasn't such a bad
person after all, just when he was starting to think that maybe he deserved a
second chance, he finds out about this little incident. “He...what?” He gulped, crying. “He raped me... every night.. That was his 'love'..
and I grew accustomed... and slowly enjoyed it... until he made it hurt.. he
made me bleed.. it still... doesn't
stop... That's why.. I always told Tsukiyono.. to stay away.. have you seen
Omi's back lately? I bet.. it's bruised.. I’m sorry, I’m sorry..” he clung to
himself tighter. Please, please don't come and look at me! Ken reached out and put an arm on Aya's shoulder. “Don't worry
about Omi, I'll talk to him about it. But, Aya, I, I don't know what to say...
I mean...” He put his arms around him and pulled him close. “I'm sorry. I'm so
sorry. You didn't deserve that...” Aya lost it. He freaked and
pulled away, almost terrified. He cried, and bent down, his fingers tightly
held onto his shirt, as he tried to wipe away the feeling of Ken's hand. Too
close, too close to find out Yohji had done it last night, oh god, if he told..
if he told, Kudou would kill him... “I won't let him do it again. I'll never let him near you again, I
promise.” Ken wondered if Yohji had
really meant to do all of that... But, of course he had! He wouldn't be
surprised if he tried to blame it all on Schuldich again. But, that excuse
wouldn't work this time. Aya cried harder. he still
wasn't being honest. He wanted to tell him so badly that Yohji still hurt him.
When Ken was asleep. He lowered his hands slightly, and a mild bruise showed
from under his sleeve. He lowered his gaze. He felt so guilty. [In The Other Room] Yohji wailed loudly. He had finally given up. But hey! If he
couldn't have Aya, couldn't he flirt? Hey! New Hope! Omi was disappointed, but, he kept his mouth shut, just as he
always did. Why did Aya always end up getting whatever he wanted, while Omi
never got anything? He had nothing. Aya had taken away the only good thing that
had ever happened to him. It just wasn't fair. Yohji smiled happily, but then looked over at Tsukiyono. His face
fell. Poor kid. “Tsukiyono..” he walked over, and touched the boy’s cheek
lightly. “What is it?” Omi didn't
feel like talking with anyone. He was getting so tired of all of this. All he
wanted, was Ken. It was as simple as that. Ken was his best friend, and his
lover. Ken was his everything, and without him, he was nothing. Kudou touched his cheek lightly. “You don't like me much, do you.”
He gently hugged Tsukiyono. “Gomen.. I did it for your sake too.. so you could
get Hidaka.. I know how important he is.” Omi looked up at the other man. “No you don't...” Yohji blinked. “What do you mean, I don't? I loved Fujimiya like
you loved Hidaka.” Omi was horrified that
Yohji would even think about saying something like that! The love that he had
for Ken, and the love that... the love? What Youji felt, was not love. “No you
didn't...” Yohji narrowed his eyes. “Nani?” “I said, no you didn't. You never really loved him, not the way
that I cared for Ken. If you really did, then you would let him be. You would
let him be happy, for once.” Yohji looked down. “You think so, Omi-kun? I just... don't want to lose Fujimiya....” Omi sighed. “If you really care about him, then just... just
leave him alone! Leave both of them alone!” Yohji looked up. “Then why.. why do you hate Aya when you know
Hidaka isn't ever coming back? I don't blame Hidaka, like you blame Fujimiya..” “Like hell you don't! You always try and blame everyone else for
your problems! You take out everything you feel on everyone else, just because
you don't know how to deal with things.”
Omi was upset. Very upset, and he tried his best not to cry in front of
him. That would only make him seem like even more of a child. And, he hated to
be treated any differently from the others. “You don't understand anything!” Yohji grabbed Tsukiyono and frowned. “Let it out! Cry dammit! Your
the only one who hasn't! The only one who hides behind a damn mask! Let your
feelings out, Tsukiyono!” Omi looked up at Yohji, and for a moment, he looked as though he
might kill him. And then, he started to just... cry. He couldn't help it. Yohji
was right... The poor kid really did have to stop with all the pretending. It
wasn't good for any of them. Yohji hugged the boy gently, and his tears slipped down his cheeks.
“Gomen, Omi.... arigatou.. you mustn’t hurt yourself..” Omi finally gave in and wrapped his arms around the other man.
“I, I, I... Oh, Yohji-kun...” It felt nice just to hug someone, even if it was
Yohji. He could still pretend. He could still imagine it was Ken. Yohji held him tightly. “Just let it out Omi.. I'm here for you...” And so, Omi did. He cried, and in between sobs, he managed to get
out a few words. They were barely audible, but he was trying his best. [Back in Ken and Aya’s Room.] Ken looked down at Aya's arm. “He didn't... this isn't...
Kudou...?” And it was then that the words hit him. Yohji’s words. When he had
said that Aya was broken... And, he was the one who had broken him... Aya lowered his head, crying, and looked away, nodding slightly.
“Gomen.” Ken's eyes widened. “Aya,
I can't believe this... How, how could you let him do this to you?! What...” But, Fujimiya was not the one that
Ken was upset with. It was Kudou. “Oh god, I don't believe this...” He was almost afraid to get too close to
Aya. Aya cried violently, near
hysterics. “I didn't, he-he- h-hit me, and I kept c-choking, I..” He choked on
his tears, keeping close to himself. “That's.. that's not the only one...” “What...? Aya, what are you talking about? How many more? How long
has this been going on for...?” Ken took a step closer to him. Aya cried, and pulled off
his shirt. His back was covered with horrid dark bruises. No wonder Aya slept
with a shirt on lately. Some bruises were horrible, cut deeply into his back.
“S-since I left him.. every.. every.. night..” Ken put a hand over his
mouth. Every night...? He had to go through this every night...? “Aya...” What
could he say? There were no words to describe how awful it was. Aya cried, his tears dampened the floor horridly. He turned away
from Ken. He couldn't face him. All he wanted was to be loved, but.. He knelt
down, and cried. “I b-begged him to stop, but he'd.. just.. he'd hit m-more.. I
couldn’t..” Ken got down on his knees and placed his arms gently on Aya's
shoulders. “Aya, listen to me. He's not going to touch you. Not ever again, I'm
here now, and this is all going to stop right now, I promise.” Aya hugged him tightly.
“Onegai.. p-p-promise?” Aya looked up. “Ken.. tell me.. Did you ever hear me
s-s-scream, feel me being pulled from.. from the room?” He closed his eyes, as
tears streamed down his cheeks. Ken looked down and
thought for a moment. “I...” He hadn't, but, it wasn't his fault! Once Ken was
asleep, well, that was it! There was no waking him up. “I'm sorry!” That was
all he could manage to say. Aya collapsed in his arms and cried. It was all he could do. |
