Brina's  Story
As a child, Brina remembered living a normal childhood growing up in her family herd of centaurs. Playing with the other youngsters, they would play games such as Chase and Hide N Seek. Often racing with some of the young males, she would out run them and cause dishearten youngsters to go off sulking. She would then trot off smiling proudly until her mother would reprimand her.
"Brina my daughter," Fiestra would speak sharply. "You must learn to control yourself amongst the young males. They need to know they are the strong and fast ones. It's not a female's place to out do the males. It's not the way of our herd. Please try to understand and control yourself."
Brina would always walk away angry and annoyed. Why should she not prove she was strong and a good runner.
Nearly into her adult stage of life, she was a strong willed female that many males despised and many females idolized for her boldness they dared not to show. Boldly she would trot up to any male and challenge him to a race or a pretend bout. Most would back down not wanting to hurt her, but some actually worroed they may be shown up by this female and they too would back down.
A horrendous event came to the small herd one day in late spring. A large troop of human men took battle with them killing many of the males and capturing the females and young ones. Brina was amongst the captured and was bounded by ropes along with the others. They in turn were sold in the land of the humans as slaves and more.
Brina was kept by the men that captured her and taken to a glen outside of town. There she was shackled to trees with chains and used to please each of the men as they saw fit to do so with her. Their advances on her were never undemanding and all too often Brina was groped so roughly that they would leave bruises that ached when she was alone and able to relax a little.
This malicious ordeal lasted well into late fall before the men finally tired of her and the sex acts they performed with her. They unshackled her and left her to die from bleeding wounds they inflicted upon her before leaving.
As she laid on the ground listening to what she thought to be the last sounds she would ever hear, she saw a faun coming to her in the usual shy manner of fauns. He looked her over a moment and them rushed off.
In minutes he was back with cloth material  and water. As he tended her wounds he hummed a tune softly in hope that it would calm her. When he finished with her wounds he rushed off again.
In his absence, Brina proficiently wrapped material around herself covering her bare breast. Never in all her life had she ever been taught nor felt the need to do this. Being unclothed was quite natural as with many of natures creatures.
This time the faun brought back food with him. Fresh fruits and bread were laid before her and then he moved away still without saying a word to her. He folded his long thin deer legs under him as he settled in a trench by a fallen tree as he pulled out his flute from a puch he carried and smiled to her once before he began to play a soft tune that seemed to lull her into a peaceful state of mind. Closing her eyes she slipped into a much needed peaceful sleep.
As the days passed, brina grew stronger and Percieus became relaxed enough to talk. He talked with a lisp which often caused him to stutter trying to correct himself. Along with this his voice was soft and often barely audible, but Brina was patient with him and would always make him feel comfortable in their conversations.
A bond stronger then friendship formed as the days of winter passed and the two became inseparable. When Percieus had trouble trying to get words out, Brina would often finish his sentence for him. All the creatures in the land became accustom to seeing the centauress and the faun together.
One  warm spring day, laying with her legs folded under her, Brina quietly worked weaving yellow, blue and white flowers into a ring. She looked up at Percieus sitting close by playing his flute and smiled when he looked her way. At that very moment she felt so completely blissful. She had finally found a true contentment in her life.
"You look zo... ssso beautiful with the zun... ssssun light ssh... sshining in your hair and your eyezz.. eyess  sss sso bright." Percieus stuttered slowly and then in a very soft, barely audible voice, "Brina, I love you."
Looking a little surprised at his last words, Brina smiled reaching out and placing the ring of flowers on his head.
"There now, my most cherished friend, you're a king. At least you are to me."  she said before she leaned close to him and kissed his cheek softly and whispered, "I love you too."
Shyly sliding his arms around her he held her close within them and gazed into her eyes just before brushing his lips over hers. He kissed her slowly as she leaned her human form into his taking in his kiss. She could feel his and her heart beats together in time as one.
Lovemaking seemed to be so natural to the two of them as the day turned into night and found them asleep enveloped in each other's love and affection. Then as the early morning sunlight began to warm the land around them giving off a fresh sweet smell of morning mist and wild flowers, it found them once again entwined in lovemaking.
