Let me start by saying that even I have some emotions, okay frozen in a deep lake of black ice, but they are there.
To continue I would like to state that, my idea, there are various kinds of love. Love between relatives, such as mother / child, is defferent than between good friends, which is again different than love between your girl / boyfriend, husband / wife etc. Okay, I have a good relationship with my relatives and friends, but I have NEVER EVER knew love like girlfriend / boyfriend. I have a couple of arguments for that. Firstly I am only 20, which is still very young. Therefore I don' think I could even be able to recognize an emotion as such. Secondly, I am not looking for a girlfriend. When people ask me why, I tell them that I don't have the time nor the money for it, and I'm not willing to make time and money for it either. (I am not a scrooge, but I like to spend my money on cd's, dvd's, books and going out) About time, I am busy with school, working, Gothic and doing things on the computer. And yes, I still have a real life!. Thirdly, everytime I have the idea something in my mind is beginning which can be categorisized as "love", I immediately delete this feeling, because I just can't use it. Although I still try to manage to have a "good friend" relationship with her. Finally I would like to state that I have some "de Sadean" values about love and sex. (de Sade was a french writer whose name became a synonym for S & M) For me, it is perfectly possible to have sex without love. To me, sex can be something like eating. A snack from the snackbar can be as good as a diner in a five star restaurant. Of course there is a difference, but I still think that you don't have to love someone to have sex.
On the other hand, people who want to stay virgin until they marry can also count on my respect. They choose something that is very hard to accomplish nowadays, and if they succeed, they have a real strong personality.
So to me, finding "the one true love" is not an option, I just want to live my life and see whatever it may bring.
About hate
When you really dislike someone, it is better to ignore that person totally. Intensely hating costs a lot of energy, and is often a waste of time. What possible thing could you do anyway? By hating, threatening, or bullying, you waste precious energy to someone not even worthy you efforts. Focus on friends, hobbys or whatever, as long as he or she doesn't come up in your mind.
