Rates do not include the cost of Domain name registration or Web Hosting services. This may be discussed during the consultation. Hourly rate for completing the registration forms and signing up for the web host shall apply. Estimated total charge is $200 for one year of hosting service and the domain name which must be renewed yearly based on the date of registration. Please note that this is not based on the date of your web site completion.

Web Site Management may involve many different activities including validating the web page code, checking links, checking page compliance/ viewability with different browsers, checking for ALT tags on images and other accessibility issues, meta tag creation, submission to search engines (cost of express service not included), reorganization of file/ folder structure, reducing image size or redesign of pages to improve loading speed (you can lose up to 1/3rd of your visitors if your page takes longer than 8 seconds to load), developing new navigation for the site and updating the look and affect of the site. Additionally, web site management may involve suggesting improvements to content and requests of personnel responsible for the specific content of the site section to rewrite the content based on provided recommendations. Initial Report is based on spending 4 hours ($200), 8 hours ($400), or 12 hours ($600) researching some if these elements and preparing a brief written report.

Disclaimer: Registration of a domain name does not guarantee receiving domain name. If the name is not contested within one month, it usually means you have it. Registration fee is for one domain name (i.e. yourname.com). You may also apply for others including yourname.net, yourname.org (if non-profit), yourname.biz and others. Seperate charges apply though some Domain Registration Companies offer a reduced rate if applied for at the same time. Additionally, you may want to consider applying for Trademark Registration of the selected domain name with the US Patent and Trademark Office (currently $300 per application). While I can assist you with this on a consultant basis, I will not be held accountable for any Trademark infractions. All forms and fees must be taken care of by your company including domain name registration renewal and web hosting fees. Failure to make a timely payment could result in loss of your domain name and additional charges from the domain registration company will apply. In addition, the web host may require a new set-up fee.
