Cabrunniso is in the Parsnamik Universe, and is the neighbor of Ninsuko, the mixed planet. My planet is considered the most practical one in its respected universe. Cabrunniso is a peaceful planet where pretty much everyone gets along, and we are revered for our spotless neighborhoods. We pride ourselves on being clean and respectable and we hope other planets in our universe follow in our footsteps.
Fun Fact: The time on Cabrunniso is the same 24-hour day that we experience on Earth. A year comprises of 12 months. The only time difference between Cabrunniso and Earth is that each month has sixty days in it.
The species of my planet is called the Unicarunny. They look like a cross between a unicorn and a bunny. Unicarunnies used to live on Ninsuko, but moved to the next planet, which was barren from the start, because the population grew too big for Ninsuko to accomodate for. Unicarunnies were once rare mixed breeds of the unicorn and the Black Bunny King, whose name was Luke (F.Y.I.) Over time, the Unicarunnies developed into their own species and not just a crossbreed. These wonderful, sprightly creatures are very caring and have a heart the size of something on Earth you call "Texas," and is made of a strange substance known as "gold." They make Cabrunniso a great place to live and contribute to the community in any and every way you may imagine.
We Unicarunnies have a passion for competitive sports. The sport of Bunara is related to a sport you Earthlings refer to as "basketball," Carayun is close to "softball," and Cercos is associated to the sport commonly known as "soccer." We are famously known for the Annual Unicarunny Race. Participants run around a long circle (oval?) and whomever reaches the finish line after 3 laps wins the race and rules the planet for 1 week. Unicarunnies also enjoy having tournaments where teams go against one another. At the end, one team and one team alone will be the champion with all the big trophies.
Fun Fact: On Cabrunniso, we don't have money in the sense of paper and coins. Our currency is made of little pebbles and shells. You work for them. A shell is equal to "$100.00," and are extremely rare. Pebbles are much less in value. They are equal to "$10.00," and are found almost everywhere on my planet.
Cabrun is the official language of Cabrunniso. Cabrun is a language that is spoken in tongue twisters and has a French sounding accent. It is somewhat hard to learn, but once you've gotten past the general foundation of it, it is easier to speak and comprehend. Unirey is the written language. It is written much like the French language, but in some ways not. It is a tad bit more difficult than the spoken language.
Now to introduce myself: :) My name is Madeleine, but all of my friends call me Maddie. I'm a Unicarunny from the planet Cabrunniso in the Parsnamik Universe. I am married to a wonderful Unicarunny named Jekek Jaerimi Mercier. We have been married for 9 years (18 Earth). We have three wonderful girls named Cheyenne (8 years Cabrunniso, 16 Earth), Savannah (6 years Cabrunniso, 12 Earth), and Madison (3 years Cabrunniso, 6 Earth). We all live in a big house (like a mansion) and have a big field where I can practice for the big Annual Unicarunny Race at the end of the year, which I have already discussed. :) I forgot to mention that many non-racing Unicarunnies bet on it. To be a part of such a race is an honor and a privilege, but there are many rules that go with this territory.
I am the ruler/founder of my planet. I wanted to be part of the neighboring planets and be able to barter with them, help them out when in times of crisis, economy drain, or a war, and they would have my back too. The Unicarunny is blessed to be able when times of trouble are coming, many of the neighboring planets refer to it as the "omnipresence of the divine Unicarunny."
Everyone seems to like me and they often come over for visits all the time and stay in the guest suite in my "mansion" reserved for rulers of other neighboring planets. This is also how I came to find out about the UOPS. I once had the Ruler of Mercury over. She was very nice. Her name is Miownansu and she told me all about the UOPS. Unfortunately, we have lost contact with her and now I am conversing with one of Miow's adopted daughters, Anamisoka. Anam helped me to get more involved with the UOPS.
Our weather is mainly cold. We Unicarunnies thrive on cold weather. There is a lot of snow and ice. The best thing about the cold weather is that winter sports may be played almost all year round. The planet of Cabrunniso has 2 suns (which amazingly help the planet stay cold). The first one is named Oryian. This is the "good sun." Whenever this particular sun appears, the weather will be good and everyone will be happy. Oryian is the sun on the left side above this paragraph. However, when the weather is going to be particularly warm and dry, the sun Wickery appears. Wickery is the sun above and on the right side. Whenever Wickery comes out to "play," we think that we have done something or have forgotten to do something, and Wickery is our punishment. The Unicarunnies are usually up by dawn everyday to see which sun has graced, or in Wickery's case, plagued us with its presence.
Fun Fact: Unicarunnies love to be the center of attention. We will do anything to get it, whether or not it is good depends in each case. I am a victim of this myself! :)
