Draven’s grin widened as the murderous shine returned to his eyes. “Maeltryst…” “Ah, yes, master…that makes better sense now. Thank you,” Ferlyne said, not understanding Draven’s sudden fervor. “Good choice, I say…that brat who nearly killed me was from Maeltryst. A little revenge before we go looking for the second artifact wouldn’t hurt,” Draven said, licking his lips eagerly. “Ah…I see I see, sir. So, when do we set out?” Ferlyne asked. “Immediately…” Draven said. He leaped to his feet, ignoring the pain that washed over him, and turned his attention towards the south east. “But we’ll need to get there before that Thalys does…he’s more trouble than he’s worth.” Ferlyne translated all of this to the faceless. The wind faceless looked at Draven and nodded its head. In a flash, the wind spun around them and carried them away. When Draven opened his eyes again, the front gates of Maeltryst stood before him. Slowly, the same eager grin filled his face. “Let’s go…” |
