Background: After obtaining the Adept's Stone, he built an army of powerful followers to do his bidding, and they all took base at the "haunted" Tier Bastion north of Sol City. When a group of adventurers, along with the help of Cloud City, assaulted Tier Bastion and defeated his army, he was thrown from a bridge and into the crator that surrounded the castle. Supposedly dead, he was rescued by a faceless and made an "alliance" with it to recover all of its missing siblings in return for a powerful artifact that could control the Adept's Stone, which he had lost.
