Background: Voyse was born into the small town of Nusalym, a small village surrounded by mountains. When he was born, Voyse’s mother died and he was left in the care of his father and his mistress. Voyse’s father was very abusive towards him, occasionally beating him to where he could not walk and even vomit blood. Voyse grew a pure hatred towards his father, a hatred so fierce that he actually murdered his father and his mistress one night as they slept. After the murder of his father, the villagers, fearing for their lives, beat him nearly to death and left him miles away from the village to slowly die. He was discovered by a man only known as Kol. This man was known for his prowess in the dark arts. Kol took Voyse in and nursed him back to health. Kol taught Voyse everything he knew. Voyse grew powerful in the forbidden arts. He became to powerful with the darkness surging through himself that his body changed and started to adapt to the darkness. Kol grew jealous of Voyse’s powers and tried to sacrifice his soul, so that he himself would be able to have possession of Voyse’s powers, but unfortunately, he was too late. Voyse murdered Kol. After that he vowed to destroy his past and everything connected to it. Voyse made his way back to Nusalym, and in a final fight for revenge and solace, set the entire village a flame. The entire town and its people succumbed to the flames that represented Voyse’s fury and pain. As he left the village he felt no remorse. Voyse eventually traveled from town to town stealing powerful artifacts and murdering wealthy nobles to further strengthen his power. Years went by and his abilities grew, he learned to ritually sacrifice his own body, thus the ghastly scars covering every inch of his body, the worst one being the scar going from ear to ear as if he is forever smiling, at what, only Voyse knows. He now wears a porcelain mask to hide his scars from anyone who would happen to see him.
