I started to take that kind of class to learn the basic skills and keep studying to go to upper levels. I already spent a few years to learn and practice. The instructor showed us a lot of skills to make the flowers look more beautiful and how to focus the best angle of the flowers. She encouraged us to attend the flower show sponsored by the Flower Arrangemant Association. After attending the show, it left me with a very happy experience.
The lessons and the experience gave me a lifetime appreciation of flowers. I loved to work with flowers. It gives me the feeling that I cannot explain. Everytime when I arrange the flower, I feel very peaceful, concentrated and all the troubles were swept away from my mind. Of course, the troubles will come back, but at least in the moment, it gave me a break.
Usually, I will put my flower arrangements on the corner table.Everytime when I pass by, I will stand there for a while, let the beauty of the flowers feed my mind and enjoy the beauty that I created. It really makes me feel great!
The one sad thing that I don't like is to put the dead flowers away, but it also gives me a chance to create another beautiful image and new feeling.It is very fun and soothing!
