History of ipodder.geekette.stargater
ipodder.geekette.stargater was first created in late 2002. It was then known as Caultkin Cavern. I used it mainly as a blog. There were other sections planned but I never got around to completing the site. I then ignored it till early March 2003 after seeing a website that belonged to my sister's friend. Due to my incurable obbession with the Esplanade, I used an image of the place as my website and thus named the website The Durian Stall. After that, all my layouts somehow revolved around the Esplanade. Some time later, I went looking for domain names and found out that Singnet(my ISP) sold domain names and webspace. I decided to get a domain name and got shattering-arts.per.sg . I thus had my entire site moved to the new URL. At first, I still used the Durian Stall name but after a while, I decided to change the site name to Shattering Arts. Fast forward to May 2004, with my webspace expiring at the end of May and me being in Australia and having no access to my server, i decided to move the site once again. I had been convinced by a friend to get an iPod and started an incurable obsession with it. Thus the new site name, living in an iPod fantasy. After a while, said friend got me addicted to Stargate and thus the new layout. The new site name is simply part of my MSN Messenger nickname. It's sort of a identity for myself. This site is now happily being hosted at Geocities until I either close it for good or get yet another domain name.
