This revision of “The Phantom of the Library” was held as a fundraiser for the Plainville Cultural Commission, targeted towards their local arts grants. The play ran for three weeks, with six sold-out performances, and resulted in the formation of the SRO Players. It was billed as a “medieval mystery night” set in the imaginary kingdom of Fufolatia and featured over twenty performers.

This musical represented the last production of Attleboro Little Theater, as the group was renamed Attleboro Community Theater one month later. It started out at ALT’s “home base” at the time, Thacher, then toured for an additional two weeks. Two special performances were added—one as a fundraiser for The Attleboro Literacy Foundation, the other for the “Make A Wish” foundation.

William Hutchinson, chair of communications and theater at Rhode Island College and featured plays by Rhode Island playwrights James ___ and Julia Steiny, Emmy nominee Viola Davis, and Trinity actresses Barbara Blossom and Margot Dion.
