I have been running from the law for several years now. I do not repent of killing the hasendado, after he attacked my sister. I am not gonna tolerate people that want to take advantage of the less fortunate.  These people have become victims of the rich and powerful goverment that is more interested in modernization and pleasing their friends here and abroad. Now I am back fighting the cause that first made us rebel against the ex-president Porfirio Diaz. My future is uncertain since friends become power hungry and dictators.  Traitors to our original cause of land reform, have turned against thier own people.  I fight with the poor peasants, people fighting with old weapons, old horses and little else.  Most of my men have done little else in this life than fight for all these years.  There is no place for them to return to, since most have lost their property and families.  This fight must be fought until all is settled, so that all this violence will not be in vain.
