note:
Recorded in Spain in 1997, "Homogenic" was Björk's first collaboration with LFO's Mark Bell. The resulting album is a tribute to Iceland, with all the songs featuring a homogeneic usage of volcanic beats and exaggeratedly romanticized patriotic string arrangements.

+ Side A: 1. Hunter 2. Joga 3. Unravel 4. All Neon Like 5. Pluto
Side B: 1. Bachelorette 2. 5 Years 3. Immature 4. Alarm Call 5. All Is Full Of Love

++ "Bachelorette"—under the working title "Shape Shifter"—features an accordion intro and outro, as well as different vocals, lyrics, beats, and arrangements. "Unravel" has a longer outro that does not fade out.
"5 Years" is called "Dare." "Alarm Call" is called "Joy." "All Is Full Of Love" is called "All Is Real."

Her portrayal of Selma, a blind factory worker, earned her the Best Actress Award at the Cannes Film Festival. She was also nominated for an Oscar® for the song "I've Seen It All,"
which she performed live at the Academy Awards in 2001.

note:
In "Vespertine," Björk entered into a whole new world of micro-beats and electronic sounds, and she collaborated with artists such as Matthew Herbert, Thomas Knak, Harmony Korine, and Matmos. The album is also the first instance in which Björk produced all the songs by herself.

+ Features the album version of "Hidden Place" with slighty more micro-beats in the background. Also contains instrumental versions of "Cocoon," "It's Not Up To You," and "Pagan Poetry." The chorus in the first part of "It's Not Up To You" is slighty different.

note:
"Drawing Restraint 9," a visual film project by Mattew Barney, concentrates on the relationship between self-imposed resistance and creativity. Björk composed a soundtrack that mirrors this struggle by wedding the traditional musical forms of Japan and her uncompromising musical vision.
