WHO AM I? WHY AM I HERE? WHAT DO I DO? HOW CAN YOU FIND ME? WHO AM I? If you've come around here, you probably already know me. Or you're here by accident. Either way, yanno. Where should I start? Name's Stephanie. Seventeen, final year of high school. Canadian. I'd love to say that I live some crazy life of intrigue, where by day I'm a mild, unassuming student, but by night I become some sort of spy or superhero or ninja or something ... but by that logic, it would have to be day all the time around here. In other words, I'm not interesting. I've got a couple of interests, things I like to do; most of them revolve around a television or a computer, actually. Screens. They're awesome. I also write. "Published" poet, donchaknow. Yeah. Wrote a "novel" last November, Nanowrimo-style. Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, honestly. People like me, anyway. I collect fandoms. Latch on and never let go. You'd be wise to keep that in mind. back to top WHY AM I HERE? You want the interesting answer, or the mundane answer? The cool answer is that I had so much to say, I had to start a website. You see, I'm so influential that it just wasn't enough to impart my opinions to the legions of adoring fans that gathered around me everywhere. It just wasn't enough to look around at their smiling faces as they waited for any morsel, any scrap of my infinite wisdom that I might deign to throw to them. I had to go further, help the whole world, and the best way was through a website. The real answer is that I was assigned to do it. Yeah, that's right - the only thing that got me back around here was schoolwork. Which explains the haphazard pages and the lackluster effort. Sorry about that. It's hard to care when you're being marked on things. Hard to do your best work in a ridiculous deadline. So that's my story. One of these days this'll all be interesting, I promise you that much. It'll all be awesome cool. back to top WHAT DO I DO? Mentioned this already, but you know. Sometimes you've got to repeat yourself in order for people to hear you. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. So, I'm a writer. Or at least something like one. I'm a big favourite of my English teachers (yes, I'm that kid, the kid you all hate, and yes, I am taking more than one English course), who seem unanimous in their decision to alienate me from everyone I know by talking about me every chance they get. We get it, people. You think I'm one of the best student writer's you've seen. Quite frankly, it's getting old. You probably can't tell anything about my writing from here. It's a funny thing about me, really: I get onto a site, and then all my l33t skillz go out the window. It's not uncommon, but it's interesting. (I write like I talk here. Sorry about that.)
