| Retaining a shadow of its nouveau ancestry, the Prairie design
doorknob set surged into popularity around 1915. Offered up until
the late 1930's by mail-order houses, this doorknob was often
supplied with "kit" houses. We find that it blends
in well with Arts & Crafts or Mission style homes. Backplate: 2 1/2" X 7". Knob: 2 1/8" dia. |
| Prairie Suite The Prairie Suite doorknob set has been used in several well-known
installations. These include the feature film, Dr. Doolittle,
and The Great Southern Hotel in Brinkley, Arkansas. To Use on Newer, Pre-Drilled Doors: Prairie Passage Set ~ Prairie Privacy Set ~ Prairie Single Dummy ~ | |
| To Use on Older, Mortised Doors: Prairie Interior Mortise Lock Set ~ Individual Components: A Few Words on Quality & Finish: All of our brass hardware is lacquer-coated to resist tarnish (unless specifically ordered uncoated).
