Patriotism, "The Star Spangled Banner", and the American flag are three concepts that get very little attention in today's world, and often it seems that American soldier's are overlooked.  In a time when America's troops are deployed to regions such as the Persian Gulf and Bosnia, these concepts take on added significance.  In an effort to ensure that American soldiers know they are supported, Support Our Soldiers (SOS) was formed.  SOS strives to make soldier's lives more tolerable when they are so far away from home.  Additionally, SOS supports the family that is left behind when young men and women leave home to fight for the freedoms so many of us take for granted.  SOS is more than a site on the internet; it is the heart of American patriotism and pride.
