Seven years earlier, Cassandra saw a mysterious Asian woman bring Sophitia back to the island. The woman drew out shards of the evil sword from Sophitia’s flesh while treating her words at the same time. When Sophitia vanished once more a few years afterwards Cassandra figured that her sister had left to find the Soul Edge once more. After running a few errands for her family Cassandra visited Sophitia’s house and found a familiar metal shard there. A piece of the Soul Edge was now in her possession. Cassandra, angered with her sister’s reaction to the piece, ran to her God’s temple and screamed out with curses to her sister. She soon realized that the Soul Edge was still alive and could not let her sister carry the burden by herself. She stole the holy sword blessed by Hephaestus and ran off to find the Soul Edge.

Cassandra is in all around fast character giving her the ability to attack with great speed. She has an average amount of attacks, making it so her style of fighting can be mixed up. Some of her more powerful moves even put the enemy in a position that allows her to do another combo on them. This can allow her to hit her opponent a couple of times before they can fight back.

However, even though she is quite fast it is very easy to see what kind of attack it will be. The opponent, then, can easily dodge or block her next attack. The weapon itself is very short which forces her to get very close to her opponents before she can attack. An enemy that wields a sword with a long range, or even one with a normal range, will be able to hit her from a distance while she is unable to hit them back. Cassandra is also quite weak which makes it even harder to defeat enemies with her. Some of her more powerful attacks will wide up leaving her open if she misses or the attack is blocked. This allows the enemy to damage her extensively.
