SEGA DREAMCAST WORD PROCESSING
            --==DC TOOLKIT==--

This article is to show you how simple it is to
use your Sega Dreamcast as a wordprocessor.
For best results you'll want to use the
optional Dreamcast Keyboard.

Whether you want to use your Dreamcast to
write stories or poems for your friends, or
to write .txt files for use on your own
homepage, eGroups is the best way I have
found to create these documents with ease.

First, you'll need to set up an account at
www.eGroups.com. Afterwards you'll probably
want to start your own Group. This is fairly
simple to do. After signing into eGroups,
just click the "Start a Group" link at the top
righthand side of the page and follow the
onscreen directions.

Once you have your own group started, you are
ready to start writing your documents. At your
Group's Main Page, click the "Files" link on the
lefthand side of the page.

Once in the Files Section you can read any documents
you have already written, write a new text file, or
edit an existing document. To begin click "Create
Text File" at the top righthand side of the page.
Then fill in the form.

Click the "Create File" button below when you are
done. Remember, you don't have to finish your file
in one sitting. You can come back to edit it at
any time.

To edit a file go to the Files Section and find the
file you wish to edit. Click the pencil icon to
edit tha file.

After your file has been created you might want to
transload the file to your own homepage. You will
have to have your settings for Files set to Public.
Once you are done transloading your document, you
can switch your settings back. This allows people
to view only the files you give them links to.
As long as your settings are not always set to
Public, then people won't be able to read any
documents which you may want to keep private.

You can find out more about transloading files with
your Dreamcast at the DC Toolkit.
