2000 i found on Newgrounds a game called Combat instinct, i already wanted
to know how to make games and movies but that game really decided me to
start flashes, so downloaded the 30 day trial version of flash 4, i
learned tween and basic script in the short laps of time, when the trial
ended i stopped making flash until 2001 when flash 5 got out, i made a
couple of movies that ended up being blammed, then i discovered
Nintendo-Classic because of a link at the bottom of the newgrounds
homepage, the ideas of making sprite flashes came to my mind but it stoped
there.
then i discovered ol' geocitie's VGDC, i decided to try some sprites manipulation in flash but i sucked, months later i created The bad day of mario, unlike other first VGParodies i made, this one was pretty good, thats why i decided to create VGFlash to host those movies. My first site was pretty ugly, it was made in flash and really messy, i never uploaded it, so i decided to use pagebuilder instead. i came up with a really ugly layout and a bravenet forum.... sometime later the affiliation craze started, i affiliated with alot of guys, thats how i discovered yut343, my friend mike told me about it, wow, yout's forum was booming and that made me jealous, so i swiched for a proboards. in 2003 i created Mario gets angry, it was VGDC first fans flick since his new layout, later a guy called paul submitted one, he added me to his MSN list and we talked alot...alot....alot....we teached each other alot of flash tricks. later in 2003 i met TopFun (1up), he showed how to make my proboards better, we became great friends. i made a small intro for my site, the geocities admin thought it was offencive and locked my account, luckily i was hosting the intro on a second account so i could change it for a "we moved" message, i moved the site to a new account, swiched my forum for a phpbb and remade the layout. |
