Lady Eboshi leads the Tatara Mono (people) at the iron making factory . She is a very strong and capable woman. She believes in the equality or superiority of women, and she buys the contracts of brothel girls so that they can work at the factory. Men work there also, many of which are the husbands or boyfriends of the women, but they don't have superior status. Eboshi also brought lepers to the factory, and takes care of them. They live in semi-seperate conditions from the rest of the factory, and they fashion rifles for Eboshi. Everyone at the factory loves and respects Eboshi very much. Eboshi treats them all well, but has a hatred for Moro no Kimi and the rest of the forest gods. She works to destroy them, partly in order to save her factory and all her workers.
