A strange little man, he befriends Ashitaka, gives him some useful information and then isn't heard from till he reappears hunting for the head of the Shishi God. He works for a mysterious organization called Shishou Ren (the Master's Coalition), and leads the Ishibiya People and the Zibashiri. He also has some sort of partnership with Eboshi. He is unscrupulous, and is determined to get the head of the Shishi God.
