An animal God who is charged with the giving and taking of life. It appears as an antlered, four-legged, almost human faced, glowing golden creature during the day, and a large, gelatinous, tentacled, splotchy blue thing (Didarabocchi) during the night. It's head is believed to have the power of eternal youth, and is hunted by the humans for it. An interesting note, the word 'shi' means death in Japanese, and the word 'kami' means spirit/god.
